No surprises, a pretty settled team.

Bench is becoming more stable.

I think ideally Hunt would replace Bird but Bird does give us some more utility potential.

AD must be under some pressure as well with May and Makasini playing state cup.

Don't want to I see the havoc happening at the dogs ...may and makasini need to wait their earned turn and then the team will stay united and know that everyone's given the same shot at a first grade spot

Hunt needs to be moved on. Never thought we could outdo the Blair signing…… but they did.

Benji needs to put a leash on Luai in this game and make sure he plays straight, we looked a lot better with our halves going straight on the weekend. Instead of running across field (edit: that sounds worse than I meant it to, Luai has been pretty good generally, just he tends to put the stop start and cross field runs on when we are in the opposition 20 and it upsets the continuity and composure it needs to become a rarity in his game) The majority of Luai’s game needs to be organise, catch, pass. Simple. Let the opportunities present themselves instead of trying to manufacture them all the time. If the play is shut down take the tackle and organise the next one, don’t run around in circles or across field upsetting the structure constantly. That’s not to say eliminate the eyes up aspect, it’s saying use it more judiciously, this is what the best players do.

Yes mate.
I have a gut feeling that Hunt has not impressed Benji for the same reasons that we've been harping on about here.
I want to watch Hunt's next reserve grade game and see if he's still killing it. If so, I think he should be given another go because we really could use an enforcer like what your eluding to.
May should come in if he's fit an firing. Whilst Bula is out, I think Benji will keep AD at centre meaning May might replace Staines.
It's actually a very good headache and selections should be based on training effort, cohesion and skill drills. No other way, no room for lovey dovey stuff :)
Makasini might get a run in the last couple of games. If the system works he should only come in thru necessity and look at being permanent around rd 10 next year. This way players know that nothing comes without doing the long hard work first.

Not yet. He was sent to reserve grade to fix his act up, he's doing that if you've been watching his games. Now he needs to come back.
If he has sorted out his shite then good because we need a genuine impact forward.
If not, he's given the ultimatum, final warning. Goneski after that.

I’d be surprised if To’a plays, there was talk of him having a ruptured/torn tricep, maybe not as bad as first thought

He was ordinary at the sharks, just a poor buy. I’d love to see him come good but he has to do it tomorrow not next year.

Luai doesn’t know what the fk he’s doing does he.. well he missed out on the Benji hug in the weekend and if he continues like he has been, he will be missing out on a lot more

I thought the same Pezz. He was in very obvious pain the entire 2nd half and the way he was carrying his left arm I thought he'd either broken or done damage to his shoulder. Either way, it was a herculean effort to stay on the field.

Hopefully he's ok.

If we win this game suddenly our season becomes a bit more exciting again. We’d have to be almost perfect and have to pick up a big scalp or two (Dogs, Canberra, Penrith) though and cannot afford to drop must win games (Titans x2, Cowboys)

This game and the Manly game feel 50/50 to me

tho you’d think he wouldn’t have been named and would have heard something

I can't believe he was named but he was. Sometimes you might get a knock that has a massive short term impact but isn't that bad ? Honestly I don't know.

i doubt he’d play with a rupture but ? At least it’s not a dislocation
