Thanks for that information Pou.

I can only judge on what I have seen mate and he was outperforming others at the level. He can also only play what's in front of him.

He is quick but never shies away from contact or the hard carries. No way am I saying he was anywhere near his ability but the way he moves is like Papenhuyzen. Plenty of good judges thought he was also too small early days (including the Storm until they gave him a run).

Anyways we have passed on him and I back the coaches they had seen enough of him where they didn't think there was a future. I will follow him with interest though.
The Storm brought Papanhuyzen down from Sydney while injured. They must've always thought he had some ability. And he is a fullback, not a winger.

@Delboy will be stoked we suddenly got some decent outside backs in reserve grade. Great job Serdaris and MON!

1. Papalii
2. Tago
3. Simonsson
4. Renisini
5. Dunster

The smart clubs play their potential players for a position in their NRL side in a different position in reserve grade.
Other Teams need a 5/8th so why let him kill it there. Play him at FB. There's alot of FB out there (Burnt by Talagi)

Not sure I agree with your effusive statement , the 2 wingers are place holders and that’s about it.

Well nobody's taking Dunster's spot in the roster (or his cap space) until he's gone, and he and Tago are both better than the RM Cup wingers you complained about last week. Meanwhile Renisini and Simonsson are both top 30 and in any case, we have two of the best wingers in the game. How many wingers do we need in the top 30?

Lomax
JAC
Simonsson
Russell
Dunster

Would you be excited if we signed Tom Jenkins? He's already played 13 games for Penrith this year.

don’t think Papalii will be the 5/8 next year if he’s getting named at fullback in cup
Has anyone seen enough of Matt Hunter to say that he has kept the 6 ahead of Joash because he is also a legit chance of playing NRL next year?
I have only seen NSW cup highlights and he has featured alot, but not sure how the club rate him currently?

Hunter is a good player would like to see him get an upgrade as a dev player and see how he develops. He has jumped over Lynn.

Lorenzo still seems to be the project player but my Smokey is Bamblett.

Can you give us a rundown of his style and physical attributes please?

We want someone like Daley or Fittler type.

He is doing fairly well in reserve grade and has youth on his side.

Hunter
Joash
Lynn
Bamblett
Twidle
Lorenzo Talataina - extended I think
alot of guys 18-21 who are 1/6 types the club may need to make decisions on soon
Also Volkman being extended means there may not be space for everyone next year

long term..

Joash can potentially be a 14. 9. 6 and 1
Lynn - not NRL material.
Bamblett - 1 and 6 but not certain to make the step up.
Twidle - see Joash and may also be a decent lock, but not certain to make the step up.
Hunter - 6 and 7 and a real dark horse to play NRL, his development in 12 months has been pretty wild, would really to keep him.
Talataina - must keep and may be ready by 27.

looking at that, I actually would of thought twice about offering Volk an extension.

you're right thoough, some big decisions need to be made in the next 6 months or so.
