Not at all surprised at Leka especially or Metcalf. Didn’t realise Seb Kris was that quick thoughWas pretty sure they already did but wasnt sure on the details so had to go looking.
Telstra Tracker is gps (and other sensor) based, and player speeds are often reported off the back of that data.
Found this article from just before Magic Round - check out who they mention had the quickest recorded speed amongst halfbacks and backrowers...

Weekes races to front as speedsters light up Magic Round
Raiders fullback Kaeo Weekes has emerged as the fastest man in the NRL this year as the sport's speedsters prepare to put on a show throughout Magic Round.www.nrl.com
Yep, HUGE sign of what he's about when he turned down the Cows to stay with us. And it's now paid off. I think he's going to go great guns.Stoked for Boyd. Been toiling away in Cup while waiting for a crack, even turning down a potential opportunity back in Aus. Instead he stuck with us and now he’s got his opportunity.
Hope he kills it, for himself personally as much as for the team.
I think the Boyd signing has been absolutely perfect.Yeah, I mean, I wasn't big on the Boyd signing, but he's been playing well in NSW Cup. Has earned a shot. Hope he goes well.
Haha man you are so cynical at times, you'd give a smile a frown. As above, I think Warriors fan are optimistic we can cover it, we want hope. In the past, it might have been Tui Lolohea going to 6, or Jett Cleary coming in way before he was ready.Boyd better play well, Warriors fans on social media have been going on about him that much I'm already sick of him.

Atta boy MV, that's the real you. Some good, hard analysis with your cynicism.I totally agree with you about halves depth, it's obviously terrific. To have both Boyd and TMM waiting in the wings is a luxury - although with that being said, Boyd has been in the NRL for a number of years and hasn't been able to lock down a first grade spot, so my expectations are hardly through the roof.
My main quibble is the hype around Boyd (from sycophant social media fans who I'd probably be best to ignore tbf) is unfair to TMM who still seems to be out of favour for no obvious reason. On merit/form he deserved to start in the halves this season, but Webster took a punt on CHT and it worked out, so all power to him. Then Boyd and TMM started the NSW Cup season in great form as a combo, but Boyd was able to lock down a spot while TMM was "promoted" to the bench in first grade. The result seems to be that Boyd has leapfrogged TMM as a halves option and TMM has almost been punished for being in first grade.
I'm not saying there's any kind of deliberate diabolical plot behind all this, but the effect is that TMM has gone from a starting half on merit to our #4 halves option without doing anything wrong. I get that we have to trust in Webster's vision to an extent, but TMM has definitely been hard done by.

I agree, wholeheartedly. I honestly don't know why TMM fell out of favour from the guy who was laying on tries deluxe in 2024 and was at the heart of that mid-season run when we knocked over Penrith, the Phins, Cows etc. And I am certain if I look back at my posting from pre-season, I wanted TMM and Metcalf, with Metcalf playing 6. History tells us Webby got that one right and he certainly knows more about league than I do. I still think TMM/Metcalf could have worked, with CHT as 14.
I can only guess that the style that Boyd brings is closer to what Webby sees as the game plan than what TMM does.
I’ve probably got a harsher view of TMM.I'm not saying there's any kind of deliberate diabolical plot behind all this, but the effect is that TMM has gone from a starting half on merit to our #4 halves option without doing anything wrong. I think TMM probably fits the supersub role than better than anyone else remaining and is being "penalised"? Still a vital cog in the machine. If Dylan Walker was still in the team, then it might have been a toss up between TMM and Boyd for the 7 spot and one would still be back in Reserve grade.
Agreed. But Webby isnt going back to that nowFor me CHT suits a utility role much more logically than TMM. TMM is a ball player, CHT is a more robust, straight up and down sort of player who could do a job in most spots.
