The way to rort the cap is to sub contract the cleaning and catering to a company owned by the Cleary's which then sub contracts to legit companies in the sector.

They can skim the margin.

Although being a club chances are that's already being done by someone not related to the footy side if things.
Most of the sub contracting at the club is going to board directors there going to give that up

That’s a fair comment. It’s Garners consistency and price that are the really attractive things.

Personally I think Hassett is a ready to replacement for Garns.
We’ve kind of done well to get ourselves back in to contest for a top eight finish without being particularly convincing.

I think post origin we just have to go for it and play our best fit and available side, no resting unless absolutely necessary.

Personally, I’m not convinced Hassett is the real deal I don’t see him being any further advanced or better than other back row options currently in NSW Cup.

I think the brains trust needs to make some tough decisions in order to re-invent the roster for 2026 and beyond.

How many of our other back rowers can also hold their own in the centres?

Yep, as our season was derailing early on, I thought maybe this year is more about next year, but we seem to have found the groove!

We're an amazing team but I think we are fortunate that no other teams are really stepping up in 2025. Its what has kept the faith around here.

I'd rate a Broncos 23 or Storm 21 to take out this comp over us. Otherwise very optimistic about our season.

Your most probably right.. If it ain't us, I think it's more the raiders year, they are similar to where we were in 2021.

Love the Raiders. Have been high on their youth for a while now. Ended up picking them to finish 9th as I usually back them to go further and they don't deliver. They have a really good mix of youth and experience. Kinda like our 2003 squad.

I see a weakness on the edges. They definitely leak points. Dogs showed how quickly it can turn when they came back from behind against the Raiders. If our D holds up we should get them.

Sounds crap to me.
They have Robson coming next year. And still have Watson.

Plus Kenny is under-contract till the end of 2027. Can't be approached by rivals till November 1 2026.

By the end of next year Kenny will be almost 29 and have six seasons of Pantherball in him.

Decisions will need to be made on how long a contract offer should be.

His body will eventually not be able to keep up the intensity that keeps him in the side.
