Your knowledge of Rugby League is extremely questionable at the moment. Screams of somebody who supports and follows the game but really had no effing idea what they are talking about.

The evidence for this claim? The persistent attempts at trying to create some kind of family link between myself and a bloke I’ve never meet in person. Desperate smokescreen attempt.
You obviously have a problem with me questioning Toby's ability and its getting a little sad.

Maybe instead of arguing with me on here you can go give Tobs a hug and tell him everything is going to be alright

Alright mate. Grow up. If you can’t have an adult conversation then I’m done trying to have one with you.

Seriously it's not just one person saying this, it's everybody.

I'm a Dogs fan, I've enjoyed watching him push us around the park. But to pretend his is a top tier halfback, you have to be kidding. He is a game manager, and maybe he could develop a little more, but going to a lower ranked club that isn't playing that well could see him go backwards pretty quickly. I think he had made the right career choice going to Super League.

That all NRL clubs were offering similar money says it all. And it was all unders.

Two ears, one mouth.

Wests Tigers and Gold Coast Titans had discussions with his management. I’ve been told two other clubs were interested as well.

If you don’t want to believe me, that’s fine. I don’t believe your original comment either. One for one. Well done.
Stop lurking the forums Toby and start your prep for tonight

Mahoney, Dearden and Bongy is a decent attacking spine.

Need a game manager unless Dearden develops as senior half.

Mahoney is a grub but he's not rubbish if he plays even close to his ability. He just needs a coach to focus him on playing footy like he did in 2021/22, not on trying to beat Josh Reynolds KPIs for being a f**kwit.

Indeed. Mahoney needs someone to get him back to playing disciplined football.

I'm not under the illusion that Toby Sexton is this great halfback but from what I've seen of the Dogs this year he kicks well, he playmakes well and he's currently keeping Lachie "Wonderkid" Galvin on the bench at the Dogs.

Surely with all that in mind he's worthy of a spot at the Dragons, Eels, Rabbitohs, Tigers or Titans. Really strange that he's Catalans bound unless they gave him a really fat salary but the Super League hasn't traditionally known to be like that to my knowledge.

Problem could be that, due to the manner and unexpected nature of how he became available, no NRL club had enough salary cap room for 2026 to be able to offer him a decent salary?

When his Catlans contract expires, he'll still only be 26 going on 27.

I think the problem probably is he wanted starting half money and no one views him as a genuine starting half.

I know Parra were interested and we have tonnes of cap space, but cooled off very quickly so I can only think he was asking too much for a fringe NRL player.

Or maybe he just likes Roussillon wines and cassoulet

Sexton is The Chad without the hair.

Chad won the NRL lottery by having Malony carry him to a comp and has dined off it since.

Sexton is the same level of talent.
