Haha, there's a kid in my son's under 9's soccer team who gets $5 per goal and he is the biggest hog ever.

I played with a kid like that. His dad was coach. He was being paid per try (probably a dollar in those days) and no one could get a run unless he was scared.

Me and my wife were saying (out of earshot of our son, what a hog he is), he's one of the son's best mates at school and he said a few weeks ago about the $5 per goal so it all made sense.

got a kid exactly like this in my sons current team. Easy game he’ll go nuts and be a total hog. Mum buys him presents for good games. Hard games, doesn’t want a bar of it.

Our players are ageing. We should be bringing on Jets players or looking outside for younger guys.
Also our coach should have been doing this last season. We could have done better by them not renewing, now they are considered old with a new generation coming on. Perth is a long way off.

The rest of the squad KNOWS that Nicho does not cut it as a chief playmaker, and has finally realised that nothing is going to change. They have therefore lost motivation and are not playing for their team-mates or the jersey.
