NRLW Round 1 crowds quietly released after the round:

THU - Sharks v Eels, Sharks Stadium - 1,524
FRI - Bulldogs v Knights, Accor Stadium - 9,577
SAT - Broncos v Tigers, Totally Workwear - 1,802
SAT - Raiders v Dragons, GIO Stadium - 6,100
SAT - Cowboys v Titans, QLD C. Bank - 8,112
SUN - Roosters v Warriors, Allianz Stadium - 6,829

Some may disagree but that’s surprisingly decent. Some clubs will have to think about what is the most appropriate stadium thoughz

There looked to be almost a whole bay free up on level 4 western side.

There was a few spare seats scattered around me in 140. But 80k did seem weird since it sold out ages ago.

The figure doesn't really matter when the game is sold out, nothing more can be done. However there is a trend of stadiums looking really well filled and the announcement being smaller than expected.

Agree re lighting at Accor - f**king horrendous. Can't even see up into the stands, so it's basically like watching a game in a gaping abyss.

Looking at this weekend's fixtures:

Sharks v Dolphins: Outside of GA, all other sections at Shark Park are sold out or down to single seats. This is not too dissimilar to what pre-sales looked like for both the Dragons (8,573) and Storm (11,573) games. Hopefully the Friday timeslot will see it closer to 10-11K.

Knights v Storm: Strong sales in the lower bowl and in the middle of the upper eastern and western grandstands. Very similar pre-sales to what the Raiders (17,527) and Dolphins (18,531) games. Hoping the 3pm timeslot sees a better member turn out (which has been pretty poor at Newcastle this year) and it edges up to 19-20K.

Dragons v Roosters: Trending towards a 12K crowd, which sadly will be the second highest crowd at Kogarah by quite a distance this year. Healthy sales across most reserve sections, ultimately will come down to whether this grows.

Cowboys v Bulldogs: Match is trending again for 18K+ crowd.

Warriors v Wests Tigers: Has been sold out for a while and weather is set to be okay on Sunday in Auckland, so should be 24K+

Eels v Panthers: Based upon sales, I don't see this one being below 18K and it's looking more likely to push towards 20K.

Titans v Broncos: Currently around the 20K mark and is being pretty heavily marketed. Hopefully it can edge closer to sell out, though it's a terrible timeslot.

Round is trending towards a 122K aggregate (17.4K average), however hopefully a few of the games can over perform compared to their current trending.

Is there just no attraction for fans to attend Kogarah anymore?

80k Not only do NSW players not get Origin, neither do the fans.
“Sydney decider nets NRL cash boost
Plenty of jokes have been made about the NRL’s delight at the result in game two in Perth forcing a decider in Sydney. Turns out that Queensland’s victory was worth a significant sum for head office. We’ve been informed that the difference between a dead rubber and a decider at Accor Stadium is around $3 million to $4 million in ticket sales alone.

We’ve also been told that despite Accor holding close to 30,000 more fans than Suncorp, the NRL makes more money out of matches in Queensland because of the share agreement in place with Venues NSW.”

Whilst there's no doubt that some deciders at Accor have been a hard sell, I question whether there would have been a $3m-4m difference this year. Accor had really strong sales before Perth and was comfortably past the 75K+ mark before the game.

We’ve also been told that despite Accor holding close to 30,000 more fans than Suncorp, the NRL makes more money out of matches in Queensland because of the share agreement in place with Venues NSW.”
Even back in the early 2000s when tickets at Suncorp was half the price of Sydney, it was a more profitable venue. It's crazy how good of a deal the NRL gets in Queensland for Origin, Tests & Finals.

Titans sent an email out to members regarding 'member only' seats being put up for sale tomorrow if not claimed. I presume these would be your flexi seats, etc.

Example of Locked member seats to still go on sale to GP:

Exampled of Current tickets on sale to GP:

The locked seats explains why half the time the Eastern stand is barren.
Should still trend towards 20k+.
