What I will criticize is our lack of forwards. I know you can only sign what's available, but surely over the last few years we could have signed one or two big boys.
I think it's long overdue that we sack the recruitment staff and start fresh. Maybe a new set of eyes can get some names in.
But the new era under Wayne is showing the same frustrations as previous coaches - lack of size, lack of metres and non-stop injuries.

You nailed it,no known 1st graders signed and more imp no props, i can see this continuing next year, arrow though willing is lightweight,tatola is a shadow of what he use to be, aiken is a bench player,hubner is a bench player, we are short mongrel, and im not impressed with munro who i think needs more nsw cup and we need to try someone else

A great episode here they go into depth around our recruitment and retention here well worth a listen and they say a number of things that we are all thinking! Well worth a watch as always.

just look at the u15s schoolboy championships maybe 1 or 2 souths player only one i can name is that devida hopate.

the 18s schoolboy championship can only name 2 players NSW CHS Taj Alvarez and
Cody Hill off the bench for NSWCCC.

Jennings, Ballard and Kaberry featuring for NSWCIS.

Roosters have numerous amount of players. A big prop from queensland. Why has our recruitment been so terrible and cant identify talent !!!!!!

Ive talked myself hoarse complaining of our poor and lack of a specialist recruitment person,ello is a poor sub as is in evidence and since mark hughs left weve floundered and sunk, not wanting to spend money in this vital area has screwed us dramatically.
Its a full time job going to all the lowergrades and schoolboys watching keeping dosiers on players and poaching, canberra the dogs and roorters have shown the way and we are a miserable last,even the tigers are better, we sign deals with keebra park a nursey of talent then let 5 poached by others, we are the joke of the nrl,we let the goat go and 3years later we need props and cant afford any,we let reyno go because we wouldnt give an extra year and 4 years on he still plays,we let gagai go because of 1 more year and he is still killing it,and now we want to give broken down walker another year and hes played f**kall the last 2 years, and mark my words if we resign mitchell who also is a lame duck ill be so disappointed it wont be funny. We are now the laughing stock of the league nrl360 sees it,we see it, why cant the blinkered idiots in our club see it?
Sandon smith we can get for 400k and he kicks goals we cant,why can noone see it,someone please tell me

Im sick of reading young players joining clubs but ours,we are a joke, ive written a nice long letter to the club voicing everyones displeasure at the sad state of affairs,i suggest you all do the same

Listening to Wayne presser he talks about a long term approach is what’s needed it won’t happen overnight. He said he can’t just click his finger and fix it it’s a process.

Said they’re willing to risk Cody playing on one more year he will be with us he said as you get older these injuries can happen but we are willing to gamble given Cody when he’s on what he brings he said we can’t replace it it’s a massive out for us when he’s not there he’s one of the best in the game when he’s on what he brings. Said 4-6 weeks for Cody but won’t rush him back so I guess season.

Said Cheese should be back in 2-3 weeks. Moale played for a number of weeks with the wrist said he was proud of him for that. Also said Cam if we can’t make the 8 he’d be happy to shut him down for the year but Cam who he is wants to play badly Wayne said we could see him for a game or 2 at the back end. Cam is running now as we know. Campbell well he’s been playing with the back injury from what Wayne said sounds like it’s getting worse and from what I can gather I think they’ll shut Campbell down for the year.

Wayne said one thing we’ve been quite good at is completing our sets. He said the boys are still upbeat morale is still solid in the place. He said he just wants them to give their best and improve in a couple of areas.

When asked on Lewis Wayne said he just wants him to get out there and put his body on the line he said he’s not a big bloke but if he can do that he will be happy when asked how he will go he said well we will see tomorrow won’t we he said Lewis knows what he has to do.

When Chaps asked about fielding some rookies he said we’ve already played all we can there isn’t anyone left. So I guess he’s not keen on playing Fletcher, Ataata or Johannsen.

Yeah I thought Fletcher may get atleast a few games off the bench.
Mellars also possibly but he also has disappeared from the team sheets so guessing injured again
