Don't think he dropped a kick either. He went up for one and appeared to have muffed it but ref said Bears knock on. He went up for it though. So did little Clarky. Taj is bomb shy at this stage. Has a go in all aspects but no way NRL ready even if he could play.

Yeah, and he's good. Not his fault he's had a step up. Will serve him well down the track. My main point though is just to point out that people who wanted him to replace Kennedy are way off the mark.

He did play a lot of fullback in juniors.

Jets lead 14-12 at half-time after a Puru penalty goal.

Stonestreet scored the first after a kick and chase and the Angel Gabrael scored off a Puru/Hosking break. Hosking and Berrell the pick of the forwards so far. Atkinson has had a couple of shaky moments at the back.

Riley Jones now on at hooker. Was pretty keen to throw hands when a teammate got suplexxed.

Scoreline flatters Manly who got two converted tries in the last couple of minutes, one almost on the siren. N Puru the architect of the win. Thought the attack looked better with Ford at the back and Atko in the halves for the last 30 mins or so.

He becomes NMU for 2026 IMO. I think Ison has more upside overall but he has to get back from a smashed knee.

From memory Ford is a manufactured 6/7 who played a lot of juniors as 1. He has been behind a lot of good young 1s.

I'd like him bulkier and I'd like him to contest bombs eventually. Maybe the bulk brings that but he's very shy attacking the high ones. He's really quick. An new attack coach might be able to bring out the backing up side of the game in him more. That try I posted shows he knows the skill to be ITRPATRT
