I disagree with you a bit on Luai but I agree with this. Galvin going and getting Latu in is a massive upgrade. Turuva for Bula is not a one sided issue. I can see Turuva putting pressure on Bula.
I can't. Bula is by far the best option at fullback for this club.......by lengths.Turuva should be our 2nd option and Mason third. Turuva is not the playmaker Bula is.

You were definitely proved correct today. I'll add you nailed it completely. Bula is a playmaker whereas Turuva is a runner.

My only objective observations
For the remainder of this season benji has to show some tough love...Douehi HAS to be 6 and Luai needs to be fighting for the centre spot
Douehi has fkn passed his audition!
Bird is too far up the pecking order
Today was the most lucid commentary I've heard from Blocker.
That is all

There were some poor signs out there.

1. Samuela Fainu is getting gassed.
2. To'a appears to have injured his arm.
3. Api isn't playing well and we are extending his contract.
4. Luai and Latu both didn't fire. They weren't terrible but they didn't fire.
5. Pole made a bunch of mistakes.

On the positives:-
1. Doueihi was our best half/creative player. We improved significantly when he was I assume playing as a ball playing lock. I should add that he got caught out twice playing at centre defensively. He was really good but he is better in the halves than anywhere else.
2. May is a special player
3. Hope was good in his brief time on the park. I think his service was crisper.
4. Seyfarth goes hard in that middle forward role.

Rubbish. Rubbish. Rubbish. I can’t think of any of other word to describe it. Must have got lucky last week. When do we get a first grade standard coach?

They were living in a fools paradise after last wks win against a depleted team with predominantly NSW cup std players & who scored 5 tries to 4

His attack has certainly been a revelation, however some of his attempts in defence are reminiscent of the days of Kevin Naiqama.
He let a try in late but to his defense he injured his arm 5 min beforehand.
The whole squad is so inconsistent in both attack and defense. In both elements they are brilliant or woeful, often only minutes apart.
Here's a question for everyone.
If the Wests Tigers had the Roosters roster at full strength, would we make the finals. One has to ask whether our failings year after year is a club culture problem or a coaching problem.
I refuse to believe it's now the front office's influence. Our CEO has given Benji enough tools and support.
Whatever Benji wants, Shane gives it to him.
We have an incredible COE and a huge nursery.
Atm, the answer to the above question imo is coaching. I believe in the NRL era, coaching is a team within itself. Benji's biggest role is to motivate his players, mold the team to play a certain way and train them midweek to a game plan.
Other elements of the game should be the responsibility of specialists assisting Benji.
Do we have the right defensive coach?
Do we have the right attacking coach?
Do we have the right team manager?
Do we have the right trainer?
Do we have the right physios etc?
Something is amis for the team to be consistently languishing at the bottom of the ladder.
Do we need to have a mid-season review right now and work towards resolving issues so 2026 is a better one.

Emphatically a big NO to each of ur queries. The cunning & experienced spin doctor Richo has bent over backwards for Benji giving him everything he wants so expect Richo to have no qualms sacking him

Pole always makes mistakes.. He doesn’t launch himself into the line like we’ve seen of him.. I noticed one run where he got the ball on the run then completely stopped then started running again so he had time to do his silly try to step the the tackler.. Self preservation ??
1/ I found myself at a Woolworths checkout when the game started then I had a feed, so I missed the finer details …but one thing that’s becoming more and more obvious is, if you want to lose a game put Luai at 6.. Latu didn’t fire - criminal.. what is that? Lack of confidence from playing second fiddle.. I dont know but the fact remains ! AD6 Latu 7 ..as obvious as dogs balls!
3 api just couldn’t do they extra effort to collect that ball off the ground..knock on! He looked like he was hung over then and that was early in the game..

whenever you see the team they are all so relaxed it’s just so fun fun fun.. similar to nsw where they were staying before game 3, compared to QLD who apparently were deadly serious and quiet ..I’d say that’s coaching and a lack of a fire under their buts .. maybe same reason Laurie lost
