As usual Buzz sticking it to the Dragons. He then follows it with a positive story on the Sharks. Do you expect anything else
I think Buzz is right. It shows that most of those players from that team of grand finalists of 2010 have lost respect for the club. With only 4 players of that team Nightingale, Young, Creagh and Weyman only attending (Hunt wasn't in the team on GF day), they should have cancelled the bloody thing. How embarrassing. The Club should have got actual numbers who could attend and if only those 4, just don't have any reunion I say.

Certainly disappointing, and definitely the clubs rep is shot. But, I will say the four 4 players who did show up, it says more about the kind of people they are....all heart those boys.

Another blunder by Lomax. A try for all money but he doesn't catch the ball with the try line about 10 metres out just begging for him to score, spills the catch and gets the shits and walks towards the Panthers in goal. In the meantime, his spilled ball is picked up by Jenkins who scoots down field and Penrith then score an easy try on the right flank by Alamoti - a 12 point turnaround and Ryles is well and truly spitting chips. Lomax should have turned straight away to try and regather the ball but he just kept walking with the sulks. Not only has he been below par in, players showed no urgency to run back to defend and teddy made a heap of ground the last 2 SOO matches but also in his last few games for the Eels.
We did similar with a kick into easts in goal last night

Probably helps that they are all employed by the club in some capacity, I think Hunt may be the only one not employed but could be wrong there.

It's a terrible look whichever way you see it. Shows exactly where the club is. It's trending in the right direction but until some of the fossils are gone for good, nothing will really change.

We had poor coaches & no recruitment manager while also not developing our kids we now have a recruitment manager & keep our kids its a different approach give it time
We need to have a balanced sqad of 30, a mix of youth and experience. I can see the youth coming through but alas, the experience is just not up to it.

If Ramsey is not up for first-grade duties, we need a marquee fullback. Gutherson is good but lacks the speed and elusiveness to beat his man constantly.

We are short of juniors who can fill the center position. Maybe Nick T is an option.

I have hopes for CT, Lawson, Finau as being suitable wingers. I can't see Sloan being able to get there.

I feel Reed and LKT would make a good halves combination however, it would be great if we had a player like CCE to bring them through.

As it has been said many times on this forum, we have som good junior forwards coming through. With JDB moving on it is even more important to recruit a couple of big forwards for them to follow and possibly see them through.

Good young FB coming through the grades. Played reserve grade today. Scored 2 .
He with Reed probably 2 years away. So nice transition from Gutho . If Ramsey is good for fg next year he definitely needs to occupy the wing, has no fear that kid. Something we’re missing this year in that position.
Nick T is NOT a centre. Even Flanno said that . Just not much lateral movement Though hits like a truck. So possible him & Hanagalu in cup again /fighting for a bench spot. As I’m guessing we won’t re sign rfm.
Agree with the dce , though read today that him to roosters is a done deal, worst kept secret

see a lot written about Buchanan's height, not sure why this seems to be a knock on the kid, there are plenty of "shorter" centres in the game, why is this such a concern, he goes well and is 19?
Well he would be one of the shortest centres going around. At 179cms he is shorter than Brian To’o by 3cms for reference, or same height as Matt Dufty.
I think his future is as a 13 or triangle player if he kicks on to first grade as he is not super quick.
