Raiders been playing down or edge of the 8 teams been playing up against us or both recently.

Eels main advantage is the Lomax/Stuart mismatch in athleticism. Moses might be able to make something of that with some astute kicking- grabbers or lower flatter "pass" chips into space rather than bombs. Maybe some early spreads either side to test that match up or our weaker right edge, mixed in with cheeky kicks instead of getting monstered up the middle on yards work.

On paper their pack is going to get pasted again. Maybe not if Junior Paulo turns up this time. Last time he went missing and literally finished with more missed tackles than runs.

Canberra have been very close to a loss for a few games now. Interesting to see if the bye regenerates them or leads to more lethargy.

I’m looking for a rare NRL trading card. Was printed and set for release in 2026 but got cancelled at the last minutes. Apparently a few escaped into circulation.

It’s the Jack Wighton “I left the Raiders to win a comp wth Souths” hologram card. When viewed front on there’s a picture of Jack in his Raiders jersey. But if you tilt it slightly you can see Jack in his Souths’ jersey holding up the Provan-Summons trophy.

On the back is the following picture:

Raiders still have some work to do if they want to win the comp. The Timoko/Savage combo needs to improve the way they read what’s in front of them when defending and Timoko and Crisp need to make their tackles stick. For Stick. The rest is there.

Even if our pack somehow murdered yours have you seen our halves we would score 10 points.

Will not be parting with cash to attend this one

Of the bottom 6/7 teams I lowkey think the Eels have the most to look forward too next year. Im seeing a lot to like about their style. Unfortunately I dont expect it to worry a full strength Raiders, despite them coming off the boil lately. If they're serious it should be a similar scoreline to earlier in the year. Green machine by 20.
