Can't understand this obsession with a small player being 'not much good in NRL'? The league is full of small players running all over the big guys, who are too big to catch the small players. Think Steve Ella, probably less than 70kg when first started, and Ben Barba to now Papahauzen, Fa'alongo and Reece Walsh amongst others being small and dominating. To me it depends how they play, not their size!
I should state the obvious re my comment that I could easily by wrong and if he signs with Parra I hope I am.
But he is a second rower, he definitely isn't fast enough to be a Pap or Ella etc. Johanssen looks to me more likely to be a good NRL second rower than Petrus (just going off the last week of ASB trials).

I doubt Petrus is too small for edge forward. Remember a lot of these ‘elite’ juniors are bigger (and much less mobile) than NRL players. You’re watching Petrus compared to them.

Deardon is little his defense is ok... Hunts as well..
His skills are hardly "sick" though. He is more of an Emu Terry Lamb or maybe a Myers version of Dylan Brown than, say, an Allan Langer - who skills brought tears to the eyes.
I would argue that the fullbacks are the players with sick skills now because they don't have to tackle much and surely don't waste time practicing wrestling techniques.
How good would RL be if you had 3 or 4 players in each team with fullback level skills?

Not sure on the sick skills but Deardon is small and he makes up for that in effort.

Noice! Any standouts today Joker?

Hard to say there was anyone that stood out they all played well in patches.

The thing that I noticed was the composure when we were behind and then again near the end of the game when they were attacking our line.

I do hope Lynn keeps working hard even if he isn't retained by us he does a lot of good work and I could see him as a late bloomer making the NRL..
