Saints have been thereabouts two weeks in a row against the Raiders and Roosters. They have Bulldogs, Raiders, Sharks, Warriors and Penrith in the run home. I can see them taking a scalp or two in there.

The Dragons look to me like a team that always expects to lose. They can play some good heads up fancy free footy when there’s no pressure on but as soon as the winning post is in sight they freeze. Expecting to lose becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.

A good example was a few weeks ago against the Raiders. They scored some great tries to almost catch up , then they went back to default mode with an aimless bomb, totally ignoring Sloan who had got them back in the match.

Adding to their woes this weekend is that they’re playing the Bulldogs who are their bogey team. The Dragons usually bring their F game against the Bulldogs. I don’t gamble but if I was a bookmaker I’d have the Bulldogs at $1:00 to win. Not even $1:01. No point betting as it’s a foregone conclusion.

Agree

Saints been very unlucky last couple of weeks. Id argue the Raiders and Roosters losses were better performances then most of their wins.

They'll win either this one or against Raiders next week.
