I think Sloan was solid all night until that brainsnap to be fair.
Well he's been told to take a hike because he's not up to it he sucks not a winger not a fullback sorry this isn't primary school where you get a pat on the back for trying hard whichever club is dumb enough to take him off our hands deserves all the misery in the world

Kyle seems to get a pat on the back for trying hard though. I forgot the coach is his dad.. he was worse over the whole 80 then Sloan was.

It feels like we aren't allowed any joy at all.
It's just so cruel.
You heard the commentary team and refs take a huge sigh of relief when the poster boy manages to throw the pass to win them the game at the end.

There was so much orchestrating from officials in that game for the umpteenth time this season.

Our effort was brilliant but still, men v men, should have found a way to win - when you sign players like Cook and Gutho you expect someone can guide us home.

Only caught the second stanza. Sounds like that was the best half to sit through.
The last five minutes seemed so indicative of our seasons travails. Luc in trying to stand up has his foot in a danger zone and we get pinged. Sloan rushes in for a great hit but the ball touches him, six again. Allen catches the ball in the field then throws himself in to the in goal for an unnecessary drop out then rather than go long and trust in our defence we try the short drop out and fluff it. Sloan then rushes in to be left bereft and it’s all over. We can’t take a trick and when we make an error it’s always consequential. At least we are gritty, not getting blown away.
Im hoping for a brighter season in 26…

Compare team to team on paper
We out performed expectations
We are in a long term rebuild
Considering our cattle we did fringing well!!
Stop with your excuses.

Another game there for the taking and we simply weren't good enough, despite all the help we got from the officiating in the second half.

You and many others are confusing rebuilding with protracted losing and mediocrity.

This coach is the same as our last 3 coaches before him, old school mentality with no willingness to adopt to the modern game. Same old mediocre signings, not being able to improve the playing roster year on year. Playing favourites with selections each and every week.

The Flanagans need to be removed from this club immediately and that's the honest truth.
