Yes it's a conspiracy and the NRL are hitching their wagon to the super popular Raiders....
Based in the UK, I only listen to podcasts and watch shows on the app (FOXTEL content) but the pro-Raiders (and particularly pro-Ricky) sentiment is definitely there.

They find a new team most years. In 2020 it was Penrith, then a few years ago it was Nth QLD, 2023 was Brisbane. Next year it will be the Dolphins.

I dunno why you watch the game if you're gonna be that cynical tbh

I think you’ve missed the point. There was zero evidence to overturn the on field decision. I agree with you, but the process has just been ignored that everyone has accepted. The first time I have seen that happen without any actual evidence. Just the vibe.

I think the bunker is all just too much for the person in that position.

Vibe has nothing to do with it. Anyone with functioning vision could see it wasn't a 40/20. What more evidence is required. Note: I'm a raiders supporter.

I actually think her method to note that the ball only bounced 10cm past the line even after bouncing off at that angle was pretty reasonable -in this particular case given not many good angles. There was no way that ball passed the 20m on the field at that angle if it landed there.

I guess you could mount a case there was no conclusive evidence but it looked pretty common sense.

If the Raiders win the Comp this year all credit must go to the Newcastle Knights. We built this team.
I had a look at the Knights squad the year before Hosking left... 2021... fair enough the starting edges were very good, Frizzel, Barnett, Fitzgibbon at that stage... but down the list the last development spot which Hosking missed out on and left was given to Jack Johns...

Yea was weird that no one questioned it. Chalk up another to Kasey. She had some howlers today.
Nah can’t blame Kasey for that one, it was called held up on the field so no bunker review.

Eels should have challenged, they would have won and got a penalty instead of a changeover.
