From a blues article..pretty much explains it..Douehi sure copped a lot for just helping out

Ramsey, Stewart, Doueihi and Preston took part in the training session with the Blues at the Blue Mountains Grammar School at Wentworth Falls.

The four players were called in to help manage the workloads of other players and will also take part in Thursday’s session as the Blues' preparations get underway for the opening game of the Ampol State of Origin series at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on Wednesday 28 May.

Douehi is gone according to the media. Rumours are getting wheels, looks like the Poly crew have taken over the boom box and Benji is just a backing vocalist

Well if he does sign with Penrith I hope he enjoys playing reserve grade, because that's where he'll be except in the case of injury and at origin time. He be purely a depth player for them.

At the end of the day, he's been a decent player for us. He doesn't owe us anything and we don't owe him anything. If he can find a better deal elsewhere, good on him.

Came thru the ranks with us since he was a kid and loves the tiges, but buisiness is buisiness.
He's actually a Souths junior. He played 1 or 2 partial years with them before coming over here, on pretty good coin at the time. Much more than he'd be on now.

I think Souths realised that he's got a ceiling, and it's not overly high. That's why they didn't match our offer.

Na, he was playing for the Dundas Shamrocks (tigers juniors) as a 14 year old and played SG Ball for Balmain Tigers. He went to Souths before coming back home to us I think you'll find DOM?

I'd like to keep him, but not if it meant we had to miss TayMay.

However, it seems so strange that we don't seem to encourage or develop a lot of GK in the club and haven't done so for a long time.
They got Lobb but he can't break out of reserve grade.
Jared Haywood isn't a goal kicker. I don't think he's even kicked a field goal. As you say Tm, we don't seem to be developing goal kickers.
You would think that a ½ would have kicked at least 1 field goal by now :)
