I tried to march in the pro-Israel march today but it was too wet and I didn't care enough to get wet and also it was probably cancelled. I don't mind Israel, they are far from saints but I like them a lot better than Iran and Homas. The Palestinians should not have voted Homas into power. Palestine peoples should stand up and remove Homas. I think otherwise I have to think they like them.
Overall it is a difficult one. I wish for world peace but I am not going to waste much time wishing.

That's a crafty post. Well done. The bolded bit is my favourite.
This could all probably be resolved over a lunch of pickled artichoke hearts, paired with an authentic chick pea dip. With some dried Lebanese bread chips of course.

You should get a job as one of Albo's 'spin doctors' with that load of shit. Albo has'nt played Trump at all. He's bent over backwards while 'the Donald' has speared him with a thick beefy sausage. Or are you now going to tell us the relaxing of our objections to some US beef is a mere coincidence.
Really? You don't think Australia's coming up fairly ok (or ok enough), in the shitstorm that is Trump's insane ranting and bluster and failed peacemaking and tariff own goals and Epstein list dodging etc etc?

There's nothing at all to panic about, SkyNews must be running out of stories.

Maybe it's bullshit mate. Just articles I've read. And I am not even saying its a good or bad thing just stating facts which mught be false. People are going back to more traditional lifestyles and looking for meaning. Gen Z / Zoomers are leading the resurgence.
Fair enough. I read articles about younger generations not being fans of alcohol etc - which might be a sign of a desire for more traditional lifestyle but nothing to do with the Church.
I'm not clicking that, Casper.

Wasn't it meant to be in the harbour tunnel? You don't get wet in the tunnel...

You might not have a solid take there... From Snopes via https://uk.news.yahoo.com/why-hamas-elected-majority-palestinians-181400026.html

A persistent claim surrounding the political system in Gaza has circulated across the internet, devoid of important context, ever since the Israel-Gaza crisis intensified in October 2023. The claim argues that the majority of Palestinians in Gaza elected Hamas, a political party and armed organization that's considered a terrorist group by the U.S. and European Union (EU) — implying that most of today's Palestinian population supports the militant group's actions toward Israel.

Those posts omitted important context. It was true that Hamas won the latest election among Palestinians in Gaza — it happened in 2006 — though that victory was not by a majority of votes.

The other thing missed there is when half the population is under 18, none of them voted for Hamas in 2006.

Pretty much no merkin under 40 now would have voted then, which accounts for around 80% of the population

So when merkins try this claim on, somehow trying to blame the Palestinians for Hamas' actions because they "voted for them" simple maths will tell you it's probably not even ten percent of the population that is alive today.

Hamas won the majority number of seats, not votes in 2006. Hamas actually gained less than 50% of the vote.

The rhetoric that the “Palestinians deserve what they got” is pretty warped.

The people of Gaza who voted in favour of Hamas in 2006 did so through desperation. Described as the world’s biggest open air prison by Tony Blair, Gaza was going nowhere with living conditions stagnated. Constricted by movement (especially men aged between 18-35) unemployment was 35%. You might say that voting for hardline right wing politicians is crazy - but it should not surprise people that it happens. Look around.

Cancer Identification rates are.

Yes because cancer is on rise. Phantom thinks plastics and thats definitely proven to have cancer risks. I think food, diets and pesticides are causing it. T Boon think it was the vaccinations. Also possible as they have caused other diseases/deaths.
