I noticed that Chammas didn’t mention the inclusion of Monday night football in his new competition plans , which I assumed has been leaked straight through from the NRL…

Whilst this is better for crowds and turn around times … I’m surprised they didn’t pull this reign to milk more money from the broadcasters ? Maybe they think they are gunna get a good deal anyway ?
Monday night is only valuable to fta. Ptv doesn’t make any difference if the game is Sunday 6pm or Monday night.

Yeah Im the one who wrote the clubs annual report too. FMD.

Never said it was worth nothing, its certainly not underpinned by the 19m cash at bank that they dont have in their own accounts.

That its going to cost whatever is irrelevant to the bullshit you trotted out.

Yeh and I’m the tooth fairy

You didn’t even know how much the lc upgrade was costing

How are they funding leagues club upgrade then ?

Bank loan.
The pokies will pay it off in a few years.
They're going to have over 300 machines.
St. George Leagues only really has the pokies with not much else to offer and they had a $6M profit this year.
I know of an RSL club in the area that has around 300 pokies with more to offer than the machines and they make around $9M profit.
Sharks Leagues will be somewhere in these ball parks, maybe even more the first few years as they will be the shiny new toy, so to speak.

How many Australians can’t afford $20 a month for kayo?
It’s closer to $30, but I’d assume there’s a number of people doing it tough over the past few years since Covid, and $30 might be the difference between heating in winter or not having any

19 million cash at bank to pay for the lc refurb

Plus don’t they own a gym at the ground that’s leased out independently?

Including the land value of the ground the sharks would have an asset backing close to 150 million to 200 million

Their Italian ceo is one of the better ones at club level even if many are muppets
The only thing that gives me the sh*ts in not enough cover for the ground They have had crowds of 22,000 many moons ago
And don't get me started on the Olympic Stadium( shoot me I watched on Nein ) the hundreds of union pileons and kick it to men and scrums on Saturday night. The stadium cover from rows 1-19 had to put up with a torrential downpour.
BTW The ex League player Sualli was on of their best.
So paying all that money to watch that and getting drenched, I'd want my money back.I understand it's a technical game I played it in my youth/

Yes CEO Mozzarella (sic) is the best of all the CEOS IMO.
One thing the assets will back the the loan for updated cost of $30m for the new leagues club

Book value net assets is 53 million which is massive. I thought the leagues club could be worth 50 million but given the cost of the refurb it’s probably way more

Stands at shark park were always too small. Too late to change them now. Et stands has hardly many seats

I had season tickets for a year in the Peter burns so I know about the lack of cover
