I reckon 500 is fair for a couple of years. The 350k especially with the tough guy act is rude.
Agree, but TBF, we don't know what the club has coming for next year.
Unfortunately, we don't appear to have a third party arrangement with anybody.
I'd certainly want him to stay though.

Contract values goes up after taking into account a lot of factors, such as how many NRL games his age, injury liability, suspension history, health, kicking average and representative history etc etc.
However, the final figure is what club thinks his value is to them, and what he brings to the club.
The average NRL contract is around 350k but Adam is a good goal kicker, i a utility player, has a great 5th tackle high long ball, and has Represented Lebanon. These are just some of his attributes.
Based on just these attributes, he is worth 500k to our side imo.
I think 350k is insulting considering the cap always increases.
The lowball offer is very likely coz of his deadshit manager.Richo would be thinking no matter what he offers the grub mgr will use it as leverage to get more money elsewhere coz he only wants to fk us around & advises his players to not sign with us

The more I think about it, taking into account recent posts, the 350k offer might have been smart move by Richo.
After the initial offer, it gave us more time to revaluate his price tag. If we went higher at the start we risk paying overs with the next offer.
As much as I like AD, I hope Richo doesn't buckle and pay overs as I don't think we need to. We have enough depth until we catch another suitable player, maybe a big boppers.

We’ve got no depth with what AD provides.. sometimes you have to pay extra to win games.. with Richo’s head stuck in the sand coz “ah that’s what we offered and we won’t budge coz that’s the new culture at wt “ Flanagan cant believe he will nab AD and win more games because of Richo’s short sightedness AND there’s no one else competing for AD ..I say good on him and the same old same old from wt. Flanagans no fool

True but it was mentioned in an article with Richo talking tough.
I believe the new rules are that we (as the current club) get last bite of the cherry, in making an offer, I think Richo is a smart operator, he'll know what he needs to do.
If he wants to keep him.

TBH, my only real concern is we won't have a GK and another general kick option, if he goes.
Don't get me wrong, he has shown the last many weeks, he's worth keeping, but his injury issues may be a problem over the next few seasons.
Hence maybe the low ball offer over the drags offer?

Flanagan is also managed by the grub so expect AD to end up at dragons unless another grub managed coach wants him & the grub orchestrates a bidding war to boost his lucrative commission.Im not defending Richo as I’ve been an outspoken critic of terrible & uncharacteristic decisions he has made while at Concord.Id also like to keep an experienced utility who can kick goals & is a damn good role model. However Richo would know that he has no hope against a Moses managed coach to try sign a Moses managed player.I like the fact we’ve minimised players on our roster managed by the swindler. He has fkd us over twice & repercussions have been catastrophic especially post 2017 & the saga re the turd & MM plus the 2 lemons Shazza & Brooks.

We have half's but not a great ball playing free running lock like AD.
Twally does't have ball skills, speed or a repertoire that of AD.
That probably leaves Pole but I believe he is a middle.

Don't forget as well that was AD's best game in 1st grade by far on Sunday. The offer we have made isn't based on that game. It's based on his year here. You gotta take into account his injury history as well. When he gets hurt it's usually a big one.

I think the offer we've put to him is fair.

Yeh I took all your points onboard DOM.
The thing is with all the points we've both mentioned, AD actually comes out smelling ok imo.
Some players are on more with less credentials.
I reckon he's got more strings to bow than we think. His reoccurring knee injuries prevented him from playing and apart from the risk of that happening again I think he's good to go.
The way he's spinted and outpaced fast backs to score a long range tries highlightshis knees are good.
From the list below, AD is better that catch and pass Brooks who's on $1.1mil, and Latrell whose on $1mil for playing 6 games. Old Jake Trbojevic is on $1mil.

$500 for AD is fair imo.

Kalyn Ponga - $1.4 million per season (Newcastle Knights)
Nathan Cleary - $1.3 million per season (Penrith Panthers)
Daly Cherry-Evans - $1.2 million per season (Sea Eagles)
Luke Brooks - $1.1 million per season (Wests Tigers)
Ben Hunt - $1.1 million per season (Illawarra Dragons)
James Tedesco - $1.1 million per season (Sydney Roosters)
Tom Trbojevic - $1.1 million per season (Sea Eagles)
Mitchell Moses - $1.1 million per season (Parramatta Eels)
Tino Fa’asuamaleaui - $1.1 million per season (Gold Coast Titans)
Jarome Luai – $1.1 million per season (Wests Tigers)
Payne Haas - $1 million per season (Brisbane Broncos)
Latrell Mitchell - $1 million per season (Rabbitohs)
Cameron Munster - $1 million per season (Melbourne Storm)
David Fifita - $1 million per season (Gold Coast Titans)
Addin Fonua-Blake - $1 million per season (Cronulla Sharks)
Nicho Hynes - $1 million per season (Cronulla Sharks)
Cameron Murray - $1 million per season (Rabbitohs)
Jake Trbojevic - $1 million per season (Sea Eagles)
Sam Walker - $950,000 per season (Sydney Roosters)
Ryan Papenhuyze - $950,000 per season (Melbourne Storm)
