Marata is twice the player. Samrani is huge effort,great attitude but his lateral movement is poor and he hasn't got the explosive power of Marata.
Samrani to me is a great no 18/19 to have. With injuries he get 15-20 games OFF BENCH

At the end of the day, most fans really like the energy and effort Bailey brings each game, but he’s not what you call a difference maker.not sure that Semrani is mulch different , maybe cheaper.

If the club can create room in the top 30 ( how that’s basically full for 2026 is another question given results) , then a couple of decent signings will be a springboard for next season, fairly obvious where the issues need improving, so fingers crossed there is movement in the roster .

Our current management are incapable of signing any difference makers. Their level of signings are Reserve graders, RMC and the juniors. When the hardsell comes on who would you Sign for GUS or Jim’s Mowing service and his mate the whipper snipper edge mate MON?

Marata was a bit clumsy at the start but boy I loved his game by the time he left us.
Samrani has for all his games apart from maybe 1 or 2 games performed very admirably.
Management from Sharks and Dogs have both spoken glowingly about him and have stated injuries are what have held him back.
Its also his first yr in 1st grade and not many if any are the finished product.
Let's see him go after another off season with us.
I trust Ryles here and as we have seen if he doesn't believe they are the right fit he will turf them pretty quickly.
