I reckon appointing Ben Creagh is a piss poor decision. Another old boy with no work experience other than being under the Dragons umbrella. Seems like a good way to perpetuate mediocrity.

Good luck to him, I hope our dragons start afresh from this weekend against the Rosters. Deano now has the rest of this year to see who's worth keeping for next year and who's not. I'd like to see Willie talau get the head coaching job next year, someone who the players can relate to, communicate with professionally, understand his work ethics and go out and give 100 percent each game.

I was really impressed with Dean Young on NRL360. He handled himself well and said the right things. Before turning on him the fans should really give Dean a fair crack. Some points he made were as follows:-

* The best they team has been is when they have had mostly juniors playing like in the 2010 GF. They had 11 in teh side that day. He is keen on sticking with our juniors first and plugging gaps. Clearly he proved this with the naming of Kade at 7 and LPT and Halangahu in the 17. Not in the 19, CT and Klye fill in the last 2 as back up.
* As soon as he got the role, and told his wife he went straight to Kade Reed's house and spoked to him and his parents about making his debut on ANZAC day. It is clear he wanted him ahead of Kyle.
* He said the team needed change as picking the same team every week clearly was not working.
* He impressed the journo's as they really had nothing to bag him. Why because he said all the right things.

I feel he got rid of Ennis as he was clearly a Flanno teachers pet, he was probably the guy feeding him the Kyle Flanno is the best half we got line to help justify SFlanno. He wanted to get rid of the any Flanno influence which I admire. What an absolute ballsy move. The media talking as if Ennis is another future immortal coach and in high demand when all he has done is been a part time assistant and on the media since retiring. Apparently at Manly he was a training 1 day a week.

If Craig Young wanted to really support his son, he should relinquish any role out of the club asap so there is no longer a nepotism agenda against his son. He simply should retire and enjoy watching his son achieve great things.

How pathetic is the media with how Saints handled the naming of the interim coach timing. Manly sacked Siebold on Friday and named Keiran Foran on Saturday as Interim. Nothing said. Saints sack Flanno in the morning and name Dean as Interim in the evening and they are a basket case and the merger is to blame. Manly is privately owned last I hear and took the same time if not longer to name their interim.

Lancaster is copping it as well for his media comments. What he said was 1000% true. The media coverage of Saints is pathetic and they just proved him right. As Kenty stated, Anasta jibes at Saints were as Lachlan Illias Player Manager and not a host of a show. Clear as day. Lancaster called him out on it which is beautiful. Anasta blowing up like a tool. How does Fox let this guy continue hosting the show beats me. The Gus says on 100% footy that a club that sacks its coach failed. Didn't he sack Cleary? and most recently Barrett under his watch? Looks like he failed at 2 clubs and both decisions have not been masterstrokes by no means. Ciraldo has not won a finals game with half a premiership winning team from the Panthers.

We are very skinny in the Halves...someone like Boyd would provide cover/1st Grade experience and and not block transition for Reed into the Top Grade.
