I remember Souths completing their sets and forcing us to come off our line for most of the game. I was there and it felt like Souths were in control. When we did create an opportunity, they were scrambling like their lives depended on it. It might’ve been the occasion. The only indigenous player who didn’t play well was JAC.
I thought Walker was ordinary. I don't remember Fox having a bad game but I just can't remember.

that little dude at fullback for souths, my thoughts on him are rugby league needs to have more of those little dudes.
That is not my best constructed sentence ever I will admit. Nor that one probably.

On a positive note, we would have won if not for some pretty classy plays.

Personally, I don’t think that the loss deserves the catastrophic reaction.

Speedhump in our journey.

Joe Gray was never on side when he tackled Walker preventing a try.
No six again by Sutton

Choady did what we failed to do - straightened their attack. And JAC was “poor” because our playmakers didn’t. We were f**ken carving them midfield with straight running, yet when we got within 20 we kept trying to go around Munro

We did well on the right hand side, but on the left Papalii kept passing too early/often. Lessons learnt, hopefully.

I felt bad for JAC when f**knuckle Munro made a couple of pathetic tackles on him that my Mum could have made.

I don't understand passing it to a winger less than a metre from the sideline when the defence is retreating and a short ball, inside ball or going yourself are all better options.

In the heat of the moment, it's natural for the rookie to want to get the ball quickly to the star winger. Watching from behind the in goal I was thinking GO YOURSELF MERKIN! because the biggest gap was just outside Papalii's defender. But on the field it's never that clear. Maybe I should've thought it louder.
