Well, I come here to commiserate over losses and laud great performances with like-minded folk, like everyone else here.
And I'd never follow another side. I just, obviously unreasonably, expect my side to make an effort - regardless of who is missing from the line-up or whether they have "anything to play for".
IMO, as soon as you pull on that jersey you have something to play for. Regardless.
PS - also, have you ever heard of the literary device known as "hyperbole"?

Have you been in a coma for the last 15 years, every game since the beginning 2012, I expect a loss, because this trash merger club, keeps giving the same week in week out, when they win it's a shock.

Ok say if you are correct, then why bother to put shit on the club at every opportunity? Don’t do this to yourself , regather or move on.It’s not perfect but I see forward progress .the young kids were not great tonight but I’m sure they gathered points in the experience scale.

I agree mate. Not sure if it’s on the coaching staff. I think it shows the enormous difference between 1st grade and reserve grade. Players like Ilias are guns in reserve grade. 1st grade…not so much

We should not be surprised…every end of season for the past 15 years bar 1 has been the same…. we throw the towel in with nothing to play for.

everyone is excited about the potential of the young players but having seen tonight a lot of them are several seasons away from first grade standard…it is evident how important JDB is for our defence and we will be without that for next year…. a massive mistake.

The performances such as tonights are inglorious but the way our administrators/ spokespeople/ management string the the fans along with empty words is despicable.

When the other side is playing gridiron and the referee or touch judge look away really what hope have you got? Tonight was 2025 repeated, but without any attack, plenty of shitty calls leading to a break in spirit, I am not surprised at all. Bring on 2026.

Now that I’ve calmed down, I reckon that if we had a few players back from injury, then we would have had a good chance of beating this team. The thing that shits me is, Souffs had as much as us out and had nothing to play for as well. Yet the only team that showed up is Souffs. That’s what f**king annoys me. And it’s been pretty much the same story for the past 14 years.
