The Wests Tigers, in partnership with Inner West Council and Campbelltown City Council, have announced a 15-year Stadium Strategy that will see the club’s NRL and NRLW fixtures played out of Leichhardt Oval and Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

I know Campbelltown isnt a great place to draw a crowd, this obsession with everything being at Leichhardt is stupid. We don't make big money off it , so either that changes or we tell the council to f**k off and go where the dollars are. If the Knights can draw a massive crowd with their dogshit team and performance then we should be able to as well.

I have fond memories of Leichhard too and can still remember the first time I saw the the quote the three best things in life are alcohol sex and the Tigers but we will never be a professional club if we think our future lies there. We're already seeing the next great bunch of talent coming through the campbelltown system but we hang on to this Leichhardtis the be all and end all rubbish. I think we should play at Leichhardt in retro round and the rest at campbelltown. Yes I know it wont happen

I think they said something about separate female dressing rooms. Campbelltown Stadium had already announced a youth academy style COE.

Not sure about CTS, but LO is getting upgraded grandstands, playing area and facilities, I believe.
I know Richo is big on corporate facilities re: boxes.

I'd like the back of the LO hill and the ( should be heritage listed) scoreboard raised 5 metres...and the hill to retain the same shape (when full)

* also howabout if the new or improved main stand was an acoustic shell so they can compete db wise with the hill...and ..and

Ive been very reliably informed that the Leichhardt Oval plans will cost $100m minimum, more likely closer to $150m. So no idea what is actually going to happen.

The Wests Tigers can confirm the departure of Head of Football, Matthew Betsey as he steps down from the role he has held since late-2023.
