I'm not sure what Bob actually said was a threat.Bob Katter is a mad merkin and I am 100% here for it.
Imagine every shop in the suburb you live in, eventually over the next 3 years turn into 1 or more of the followingWell hopefully it's on its way here. Then we'll really have an immigration problem.
Enjoy your non-racist protest march against these "sort of things" on Sunday...Imagine every shop in the suburb you live in, eventually over the next 3 years turn into 1 or more of the following
Saree shops. lets say 5 of them.
Curry house. 15 at least.
Gold jewelry and trinket shops. 4 min
Green grocer with the least fresh produce you've ever seen. at least 3
Seafood shops with prawns whose heads went black 2 days ago. 2 min
mobile phone and pc repairs. 3
None of these are new shops. They are taking the space of where your favourite eateries were and anything else that was convenient to you.
Now imagine not being able to drive a short distance without nearly getting into an accident due to the constant u-turns, 3-10 point turns or just plain pulling right out in front of you without any care in the world what so ever.
Same goes for the other 2 places convenient to you.
It's not nice to be marginalised in your own environment, I can assure you.
Should anyone raising these concerns be labelled racist?
A quick maps tour of Pendle Hill, Wentworthville and Toongabbie will prove that the above is no exaggeration.
Let me assure you that when this happens to you, you won't like it.
You want to see some real racism (not your argument I know) go and open a Pakistani or Bangladeshi restaurant down on Pendle Way.
While your on maps, check out Eastwood and Epping. Then come back and insinuate that we don't really have an immigration problem. Cheers.

BTW, I truly lament the loss of the thriving kebab shop that was owned and operated by the nicest Muslim/Turkish family you'd ever meet. Same goes for the gorgeous Vietnamese couple who had the hamburger takeaway. Manny used to enjoy my Toohey's Old clone that I made and took him regularly.Enjoy your non-racist protest march against these "sort of things" on Sunday...
f**k man it was just a joke about a possible alien invasion. For what it's worth I grew up in Guildford, Wenty and Greystanes. I know how those places have changed. I agree there's got to be room for serious discussions about immigration without being labelled as racist.Imagine every shop in the suburb you live in, eventually over the next 3 years turn into 1 or more of the following

Fair enough and good to hear. Sorry, I spun out a bit cos I didn't think you were part of that brigade. Cheers.f**k man it was just a joke about a possible alien invasion. Government is happy to tax gambling, alcohol, cigarettes yet is doing not enough for homeless.
Homelessness under Albanese government 'worst in living memory', peak bodies warn

Women 'stuck' in refuges as housing crisis fuels worst homelessness 'in living memory'
Homelessness has risen to the "worst levels in living memory" in the first term of the Albanese government, advocacy groups warn, as the government grapples with advice that housing targets will not be met.www.abc.net.au
What are we going to do about Sovereign state lunatics?
Exactly. I often wonder how different things might be had we not had free insulation, stimulus packages and the exorbitant waste of funds that occurred during covid.Until governments are prepared to implement policy that brings the price of housing down, shit will just get worse.
What government is gonna implement policy that deliberately means anyone who already owns a home loses. f**king none, instead we'll get more of the same dumb shit that subsidizes merkins getting into the market and inevitably makes house prices grow, thus meaning next lot of merkins need even more government help to get into the market.
We are dumb, because we reward this behavior, and will punish any merkin who actually does what's needed
Yeah. Probably because I went to school in south-west Sydney, and talked with people of a range of nationalities. Same when I had the opportunity to go to university back in the day, mixing with lots of students of non-Anglo backgrounds including those from the sub-continent during those years.I assume you have a few close sub continent friends yeah?
Just capitalism really, not the economy these days. Always has required constant population growth - which is why you occasionally get LNP pollies trying to encourage people to have more babies. The economy is such these days that mass immigration is required to sustain it.
Don't worry, I do and will. And for the second one - don't worry, I won't.Enjoy your environment while you still can. Don't come crying to me when you no longer do.

Since then I also have worked with (and for) people of many nationalities for decades. So I consider myself fortunate, and culture and race (and gender, or sexuality) aren't really something I notice in my interactions with people as any sort of a barrier.
Thanks for clearing that up. Globalism and globalisation has zero to do with it eh.Just capitalism really, not the economy these days. Always has required constant population growth - which is why you occasionally get LNP pollies trying to encourage people to have more babies.
But people the world over aren't really doing the large family thing any more, and rightly so. Hence western countries/industrialised economies all need migration - except when it suits populist attempts for approval by politicians like Trump.
