Manly need to win by fifty and hope the Roosters get pumped by about forty so you'd guess they'll be throwing the ball around a bit.

Think they’ll just be focused on a good end to a disappointing season, whereas we’ll continue with a disappointing end to a good season…

Think they have too anyway, forward stocks are completely decimated and a a bit of firepower in the backs missing too

I also heard someone say that they could see the Bulldogs wanting to keep rolling to build some momentum heading into Melbourne week 1

Do you think so? I think the team lists tomorrow may tell us a different story. Craig Bellamy has already said he may rest players, and given their position won't move with a win or a loss - unless there is a 90-point swing between them and the Dogs - that is a chance of happening.

The Dogs may do the same, they don't have the motivation the Sharks do and will probably feel like 3rd is their spot.

I think there's a very, very, very, small chance we finish top 4.

We're not the sort of side I think that can risk it, but honestly, based on that, would it be the worst idea to rest the likes of RTS, JFH, Clark and some of these guys who have had heavy workloads? I honestly don't think the Panthers or Roosters at home are much of a difference. I'd prefer the Roosters but putting 40 on the Storm in a half in Melbourne, that's hardly something to make sure you secure.

I heard Bellamy isn’t resting any
I saw a clip on Fox where he said he'd strongly consider a couple. He's not going to do 16, but unless he thinks they'll get dorked by 40, and the Dogs win by 50 - against a side who wants to make the top 4 - then it would have to be considered.

Team list Tuesday is going to be spicy this week

But yeah, top 4 is still a chance so there is no way we can afford to rest anyone. You'd hate to do so then realise a W would have got us a life.

I can only hope that Melbourne and the Dogs would have enough motivation to want to keep winning this week, especially Melbourne given their woes in the second half on Friday. But on the Dogs, I really don't see that a win means that much to them. Maybe Ciraldo doesn't see it that way

We are no real chance of being in the top 4. There is no way both Broncos and sharks will lose and probably unlikely in a must win game, that we win. Just setting my expectations. I reckon that the way they are playing, both Penriff and Easts (I hate easts) can win the comp. Canberra and Storm the most likely. I don't see Broncos, Sharks doing it, but if Reynolds back, maybe. Bulldogs, another maybe. Game based on Burton kicking and Crichton taking the heads off opposition players and not being penalised. But its effective.

They are playing the Storm and the Bulldogs respectively. It comes down to how many and who they rest IMO

I was talking to Lachie Galvins brother on Saturday, he doesnt reckon the Dogs will rest any
Article I read said anyone with niggles may not play, which was Kiraz and someone else (Harry Hayes I think). Kikau is coming back from injury and keen to play.

Storm pretty keen to play most of their guys as well, including Jahrome

Duno who might be carrying niggles but workload-wise, Burton and Preston haven’t had a break since their last bye.

Was quietly pleased to see the Storm implode though. Don’t have anything against them, but they’re our best shot at avoiding 6th (and the Panthers) and that result ended any risk of them managing workloads v Broncs.
