100%

I think he’s been relatively average for the dogs. Worked well in the Penrith system as many do, but doesn’t offer the same outside of it.
Ok, good take.

You referenced that he worked well in a 4 peat team with the possibility he may have been the difference.

I think you're relatively wrong when it comes to his impact on the Dogs, I think he's 100% the difference. I think Ciraldo is overrated and they're gonna get found out next year when we overcome them.

Centres I’d pick before Crichton

Farnworth
Staggs
Best
Hammer
Koula

Probably pick Toia, Brimson and Iro over him too.

all cheaper, and less dickheads too

Once again I'm gonna have to politely disagree and step out of whatever spastic discourse you've got going on

It's unfathomable to me that the physical embodiment of the turning point in three grand finals is being derided as some also ran on account of his stats when put against lesser squads which he's single handedley risen to his level.

Again, you clearly haven't seen the 3 grand finals Panthers victories or you wouldn't state that.

It's clown world that you keep proving my point every time you respond.
I saw the 2022 grand final and To’o was the best on the field. Him and Edwards were relentless, and they wore our pack down.

Did you watch the last one? It was on your Kotoni
I agree he is bigger than Staggs. On the line I’d expect him to overpower most centres. It’s just a matter of his team wearing down the defence and then getting him the ball. It’s why he only made four runs in last year’s elimination final. He needs others to create opportunities for him.

You're impervious to reason or experience.

If I were in want of tight hulled sealed vessel ironclad in impenetrability I'd choose your skull as my escape boat.

Personally i like the leadership aspects critta brings. Sure hate him or whatever but definitely someone u want on your team. Im not saying herbie doesnt have that but it feels a lot more evident on the field with Critta. Herbie could easily be just as great in the lockeroom. Defensively critta covers so much ground and is laterally amazing. Imo despite the stats - defensively id take critta over herbie (the infamous and subjective eye test). Otherwise herbie i would rather have offensively. Dude seems impossible to tackle and yes the stats this time do back it up and so does the eye test. Who would i take for our team? Fkn any of those two motherfkers theyre amazing players. Personally i think theyre both very close and both at the top of their positions.

Thank you, Viole02, the Eels fan club thanks you for your erudite trenchant observations of what a complete and utter merkin Popou Escobar is.
Nah im defs not here to have a go at Pou. Stats are useful and theres definitely a place for them. Data analytics is huge in sport but i do think there are things that go beyond the stats and are hard to quantify. So solely relying on stats doesnt necessarily give the full picture. No worries if Pou disagrees me - such is life brother
