I'm a bit embarrassed I doubted @Fangs , BS was pretty good, held his gloves up defensively and pretty decent service for DH and a nice sneaky try.

Leota is a finals beast, so good. Garner needs more time on the field.
We don't want to try get away with it again though

You know we didn't.

No one can do Kenny's job. We half-assed it and it worked.

Hopefully Kenny is available next week and it's not a talking point.
Ivan nailed a few things especially Alamoti over Jenkins.
The Garner use was f**king bizarre though

Henry has only been on the field for 3mins. Tough judge
Mate if you saw the swing through the middle when he came on the field you would have been saying the same. It was immediate. The moment Lindsay Smith came off for Henry the middle wasn’t the same. I will say no more. Think of me as a tough judge if you like, but Henry is Simple Jack v2.0

I think re Garner it came down to our other forwards. They played very well so he held him back.

And NZ had a light bench so we held back for the end. They had a much better first half than their second. They couldn't go with us.

Not sure the rotations mattered much in the end end but we won the game.

If we don’t have Smith and Leota on the field for a large period next week when they get their first spell, the dogs will have a field day through the middle unless Henry has the game of his life.

To be completely fair - Henry doesn’t miss a tackle and he tries hard but he doesn’t bend the line and the ruck speed of the opposition increases a lot when he comes on. So he makes effective tackles but doesn’t always dominate the contact. Just my opinion.

I Pap and Smith were phenomenal tonight.

I’m off the get tonked. Ciao

Papali'i was very good.

I noticed Papali'i more than Henry. I'll have to watch the replay. I saw Henry come on and Paps split someone's lip then the rest is a blur tbh. I was simply floored by Brad Schneider and could barely compose myself.

Rotations talk is overated in the end we finished ahead with plenty of gas so we really don't know. Maybe it pays off in the coming weeks.

Alamoti great, Nathan and the few minutes Ivan gave Garner
.

For me Papali'i was MOTM. He come on and changed the whole momentum of the game.
Nathan and Too where good also.

Overall I think Penrith got the job done without going full throttle but did look a bit clunky. To give the Warriors some credit. They played tough footy and bashed hard all game.

Lindsay Smith was very good today both in attack and defence. Liam Henry did everything required when he came on.

I like Smith, however he doesn't seem suited to the opening stanza as a prop.

He's a finesse rather than power runner and does his best work when he can use his feet on tiring defenders.

We are a far better football team with Garner on the field. Has to be on after 20 mins. Our shape improves dramatically with a backrower that can run something different to an unders line.

Edwards came up with a couple of massive plays when needed most. The disrespect the bloke gets ridic.

And told yas. Bradley MOTM.
