@Parrapat I suggest this would be Robbos anthem in press conferences moving forward

Not sure if it should be played as he enters the presser or as he leaves, maybe both?

What you reckon ? I'll leave it to your expert judgement

Watching the 3 finals so far, our form the last 3 weeks of the season would have seen us beat any of the 6 teams.

shows why the start of the year is so important to bank wins.
We’ve proven we can beat Warriors, Roosters and Broncos but they’d still all be 50:50 games.
The Storm are a bit off where they were when we lost a close one, as well as being down a halfback but id still say 50:50.
I think we’d struggle against the Sharks at home (because we always seem to), Panthers anywhere, Canberra, and Broncos on an above average day with Reynolds playing.
So yeah, that kinda fits with being a bottom 8 side.
I think the interesting part is we finished the season better and stronger, as did panthers. Storm, Dogs, Phins, all faded.

It's interesting but is it meaningful? The start vs the finish of the season are small samples of (at most) a dozen games. Results are heavily impacted by player availability and the quality of the opposition (with their own availability challenges or lack thereof).

Penrith have the luck of the Gods. Finish in 7th spot but get a warriors side missing their best forward and halfback in week 1 and a banged up Bulldog team in week 2.

No lucky gods around when they were coming dead last after 12 rounds

Hope they destroy the dogs next week 57-0

I think in this instance it may , as it was obvious we were improving as the year went on and we beat quality opposition too that had a lot to play for in context of season

More meaningful than the shit you continue to spout on here, like it's some untreated compulsive condition....

We did play more top eight teams (7) in the second half of the year than the first half (5), though you could also argue that every team has a lot to play for at the start of the year, while this number decreases as the season goes on.

But I agree we obviously improved as the season went on, as you'd hope with all the rookies in the squad. It reminded me of the 2017-2019 seasons.
