I’ll be disappointed if they don’t go to The Everest with Lady Shenandoah.

She’s a Mare there is nothing to lose.

Joliestar on her day is very very good but she can throw in the odd flat run occasionally.
If she went in fresh off just a run (LS) I think she could’ve done quite well…still think she’s more of a mile type just going off my gut feel…

Manaal, you luscious piece of ayy-ussss.

Time for Wodeton to put up or shut up today. He’s rapidly heading towards the “Pube Collector” category.
Decided not to bet in the race as I back M-anal the start before & was convinced it needed at least another one or hadn’t come back…oh look at that 🙄

@WaznTheGreat Give Gashfoora strength!! Another Aussie connection in Al Riffa the current fave for the Cup, who has been recently purchased by Australian Bloodstock, is running in the Irish St Leger too. Also keep an eye out for Jap horse Cruix Du Nord having its first run in France at Longchamp in preparation for the Arc.

A good, hard-fought win; he should take plenty of improvement from that run.

Yeah that was a good win @WaznTheGreat! Seemed to be a distinct lack of pace in the race, or at least not the type of pace it’s use to in Japan, so for him to dash home like that off a sit & sprint shows his talent. The second horse Daryz has shown a real classy turn of foot in his last few victories so to out last him to the line first up is a big tick - I think he can be Japan’s first winner of the Arc and is a very good price at $11 in futures.
