Shows pommies don’t need the nrl

Just need to get the tv deal at 30 to 40 million quid pa and they will be fine

Lost in all the negativity is 14 teams with no loop figures is a great result even if toulose miss out

Three out of Bradford York London and toulose is excellent

because there's still crap club that will get a run every week like tigers, giants,

And Ive watched plenty of avg SOO games! Surely every game would be a guaranteed masterpiece of RL if your theory was correct? So come on name me any Sports comp that has reduced clubs and grown audiences, I'm waiting...........
the NRL did it you dope. How's that going??

It’s in the article
It isnt, they mentioned some stadium upgrades and streaming of games, then said York have done exactly the same. Then mention better league position but since that article York have won the 1895 cup (0.1 points) LLS (pushing them up to avg position) and on track for Premiership (bonus 0.25points).

If that were true no one would be watching club union and they'd all have switched to watching RL a long time ago!
To watch Salford play Castleford? Mate.
Watch NRL , then watch SL. How can you possibly not realize that a higher standard of play will get more fans.
Nobody's tuning in to watch a bunch of plodders knock on 47 times.

Stadium 1.125 points
Streaming 0.25 points
Updated ladder position 0.33 points

Toulose won’t change their score from last year much nor will York

York have streaming 0.25 + 1895 cup 0.1 point _+ improved League position (plus on course for championship 0.25), and we dont know what else. Toulouse could get an increase of 0.25 if win championship. The stuff we dont know about is the fanbase, investment and social media reach score changes.

3 years ago cas v salford would have been good to watch as both were battling for the playoffs. Sport is cyclical. That same season wakey v HKR would have been a dud game with little interest yet this season it was just played in front of a sell out crowd with Wakey playing very well to keep play off hopes alive and HKR havign their LLS hopes dented. You do say some dumb things!

They lost money in 22,23 and 24 according to Richardson. They're getting $3-5mill over the salary cap lol.

Again …Richardson started there in Jan 24…are you holding him accountable for results before that ?

He has just completed his first full financial year and made a profit…

But you miss the other point … they should be spending more money on pathways and coaching and sports science like the more successful clubs ( Penrith and dogs ) do, and get their pokie palaces to fund it….Wests Ashfield just made a $9 million profit …. Put half that back into the South West juniors

Travel costs 1 million euro last year rising to 1.5 million

Also could get their funding cut but after next year will have an upgraded stadium

eh? the NRL reduced to 14 teams, lost fans left right and centre and realised they needed to expand, hence why we are no longer at 14 teams but about to go to 20!

They reduced teams because larger league wasn't sustainable at the time. Superleague needs to do that.

You're celebrating 10k crowds and sub par Rugby league as your peak..
If you want a ceiling, you have it.
