Rumours and Stuff

We took the game to Darwin for several years. Stupid heat, small local market with no chance of an NRL team in the future. Yet Perth is coming onboard, much further away, a much larger population than Adelaide which has an even larger population than Hobart. You say Adelaide is 100% AFL yet Tassie will most likely have an AFL team in the not too distant future.
Just want to clarify something regarding a replacement for Darwin (and it's not about your post per se, I just couldn't be arsed going and finding another one)...

We didn't directly just choose to take our game to Darwin and I don't think we would just choose to take our game anywhere else for that matter.
The NT government provided us with a sponsorship which was worth a lot of dollars and it was on the proviso that we play a game in Darwin each year, so we did.

If we are going to play games somewhere else, we should (and probably will) require some sort of financial incentive/sponsorship.

I assume the Chief Minister of the NT at the time, and life long Parra fan, Adam Giles, was the one and only reason we originally went to Dawrin.

Perhaps he could help us out again and have Gina Reinhardt throw us some spare change she might have laying around.

I'd say the Raiders have the best financial deal of any NRL club to play their games somewhere. They just have to play 12 games per year at the ground to get the money...

Hence the reason why they had a random pre-season trial at GIO this year because they were forced to take a home game to Vegas.

Didn't Canberra play a game at Wagga for a few years.

victor would be like signing watmong again.
Kidding yourself. Watmough was a fantastic player who was absolutely f**ked before coming here.

Radley’s form from the eye test has been huge at the end of this season. He is also a known intimidator and huge hitter and knows how to find the tryline.

He has had plenty of head knocks over the last 2 seasons which is absolutely a risk. But to suggest with 160 games at the Chooks and at 27 years old he is like Watmough is a very naive comment.

Moretti played his junior league with Clovelly Crocodiles, the same local club as Roosters fan favourite Victor Radley.

Surely would be a first if we did sign Radley

2 x Clovelly Crocodile juniors on our Roster.

Interesting take. I had written the idea off based on the fact I thought he was past it, but I have not watched any Roosters games except Parra games maybe ever so sounds like we would be fools not to consider it if he is a possible Fox signing.
