Rumours and Stuff

Not going to argue Watmough. But back to my point, anyone who closely watches Roosters games knows he is their forward back leader. Honestly, he’s a great f**king player. Article suggests he’s in $700-$750k, when you consider Branden Smith was on $800k you just scratch your head. Radley is a very good player. I’d stick him on an edge he’d be a huge signing.

Realistically, who is going to be released between now and the start of next year that we can sign? If the club have some targets they're confident of getting then I wouldn't sign him.
But if there's no one in the cross hairs then I'd go for it. 2 year deal, front loaded. Maybe play on an edge, or possibly start at 13 and take the heat out of the game for the first 30 and then replaced by Walker.
JDB is old, so is Jnr. Assume they'll play less minutes next year. Every team has injuries so unlikely we have our top pack available every week.
We've got one of the best 7's in the game and at the moment we're going into next year hopeful that we might be able to sneak into the 8. Seems like a wasted year. Probably better off signing whoever we can and hoping that the juniors develop well over the offseason and give it a decent crack next year.

I’d take Radley without doubt. 2 time premiership winner, will be an international later this year for England and has a great work ethic and real impact on their go-forward

has it been confirmed we are one of the clubs looking at him? Or is it just an assumption based on the Ryles connection?

Well Ryles made it clear we have at least one spot to add to our forward pack. We are also in the market for a backrower. Plus Ryles knows him. Plus we’ve proven our ability to get the best out of him through JAC. If, if he becomes available we’ll talk to him for sure, if not already.

Interesting take. I had written the idea off based on the fact I thought he was past it, but I have not watched any Roosters games except Parra games maybe ever so sounds like we would be fools not to consider it if he is a possible Fox signing.

Basicaly you went off half cocked.

Well the Roosters have showed what a piss weak club the Broncos are with how they dealt with Ezra.

The Broncos waited for the NRL to impose a sanction and then come in after that.

The Roosters have just gone whack.

And while they didn't have a choice.

Nipping it in the bud now and I get the sense Politis looked at the Ezra 9 game ban and went lets go 1 game more and embarass the Broncos a little bit in the process.

I wonder how much groveling Victor would have had to do to survive the axe after making Uncle Nick look like a idiot less then 12 months after the Zero tolerance comments.

Regardless of all this noise surrounding Radley I wouldn't take him on head knocks alone. The noise? I would be extremely surprised if the Eels & JR considered him as part of the plan going forward, culturally.
