Between Angel Capital’s horror run and the Snorks getting to play another game of football next week, it was a pretty tough Saturday.

The good news is that was yesterday, today is a new day with Sunday racing at Flemington and a bit of HK.

I have a mate who has a small share in Freak of Nature which is in the last at Flemington today. It’s last prep was good, think he may have won a couple of Sandown Wednesday races. He’s come back this prep and nothing has gone right and D-Day is looming. He finally draws a gate today. He trialled well on Tuesday, 2nd to Austmarr and just beat Yum into 3rd which looks pretty good after yesterday. Currently $31. Worth a little e/w bet but don’t leave out of your quaddies.
