Did you just issue me with a breach notice?
The governing board of our autonomous collective shall consider your punishment.
A firm, but stern finger waving may be called for.
But seriously . . . having grown up in a rich multicultural area in Western Sydney . . . the khod has been a staple of lebbo's throughout my childhood. We Europeans didn't see it as overly offensive. Honestly, the first time I saw it, the first thing I thought of was turning your hand so it points down and adapting that finger configuration into my repertoire at the drive-in on Friday night.

Was considered bullying when he was at Tigers

Hope the Doggies are documenting all discussions and agreements made with Galvin on situations like this, otherwise we know if he needs to, he’ll use it against them in the future.
This is exactly the sort of thing I said when it was all happening at the Tigers, in an environment like a professional sports team, there has to be absolute trust between the player and the club, it’s not like a ‘normal’ workplace. I’m sure they’re not doing documented ‘return to work’ meetings when a player gets injured and misses a game, I’m sure they’re not doing Health and Safety investigations everytime a player gets injured (in the normal workplace an injury at work would invoke a full H&S investigation). However, if they don’t do all that stuff, and then the typical HR stuff like documented performance discussions etc, then theoretically, if something happens to the player (employee) that they don’t like, they can use those admin failures to their advantage from a legal perspective, which is exactly what Galvin was doing to the Tigers, and that makes him a risk to employ, because if things don’t go how he wants, his agent has proven he’ll be all over it.

The capitulation of the Dogs mid season is pretty epic and embarrasing.

Galvin isn't the cause, but he is a symptom.

Word is Galvin's manager has another list and is looking for another mid/late season switch, preferably to Penrith. He has also hinted there may be further lists/movement if required, depending on this week’s results.

Exactly, Gus is the cause. Thought he was so f**king clever mid-season, bringing Galvin in, but blew up a whole system.

And the odds of him admitting he got it wrong, or anything that went on mid-season was wrong, are as good as a Warriors 2025 premiership.

System. Our system was being high energy and not letting in points. We let a billion of them in yesterday. And haven't been great at it since origin. Not sure if that's the Galvin effect.

Strange thing appears to be both his manager and father wanted Galvin to sign with the Eels and play alongside a real half in Moses and work in his natural position. Parra were told he was expected to sign, but Gould and his school coach didn’t let up in the last few days and he bought the vision.

He may well succeed in coming years, but perhaps there is some regret. Like Mahoney, be aware.

Maybe system was the wrong word, but part of the culture that Gould sold was loyalty, the family club and backing their people. Then when on a ride to the top, having just beaten the Raiders at home - something no one else did during the regular season - they completely go against that fabric and toss in a 19-year-old who'd publicly shat on his former club.

No one knows if the Dogs would've crashed and burned with 7-Sexton 6- Burton 9- Mahoney but going against the 'if it ain't broke' theory...if another club did that, Gus would be on Six Tackles saying it was a dumb move. In fact, just before he signed Galvin, he said the Roosters were guilty of going after shiny things when they already had the right cattle.

Of course, he hasn't put a foot wrong in his own mind in 50 years in footy, so obviously that critical lens doesn't turn on himself.

There's a lot of people in footy who would have enjoyed seeing the Dogs implode after Gus lied through his teeth for weeks if not months

Gus hinting on 100 percent footy Burton will play centre and Galvin might play six and they debut some kid from the lower grades sometime next year

Precicely this. What's happened to Reed and Sexton is pretty telling of the management treatment of players at the Dogs. The story of Ivan Clearly's not wanting Gus to move on Api Koroisau, but Gus did it anyway.

Up coming stars will be warey of playing under a Gus management. Soon as the next shiny thing comes on the market, they could easily be brushed aside despite all of the hard work and success.
