Fullbacka very early pick of what our R1 team looks like for next season:
1: Gutho
2: Sloan (Ramsey assuming he stays and is fit)
3: Suli
4: Val
5: CT
6: LKT (it will be Kyle)
7: Atkinson
8: T. Couch
9: Cook
10: Klemmer
11: Egan
12: Sua
13: Stewart
14: Liddle
15: Sele
16: Luch
17: Kerr
Would love to see Halangahu, LPT and R. Couch in the side, however it's promising to see our forwards depth
Maybe he can find a job for Lawrie over there.
Why are you selecting players who aren't eligible to play.Fullback
I,f he is fit enough to play NRL, Ramsey should be our Fullback. He has the skills and speed to do the job well. Gutherson is beginning to slow down and, given his great passing skills, would be best laced at center.
Wings
At this stafe CE, Lawson, and Williams seem to be in the contest.
Centers
Holmes will return to his spot, while Suli should move to the 17 position on the bench. Buchanan is the ideal backup center.
Halves
Illias and Reed to fight it out for the 7 jumper
This d.ckhead manages to work that into most of his posts. One of those people who thinks he sounds more intelligent the more he repeats himself lol.Popped in here to see if anything interesting being discussed. Then I see a dragons fan calling his own team “St Merger Trash”
Damn, I’d expect that from opposition trolls not supposed dragons fans.
I reckon there's room for a 1 year contract for Klem. He was one of our better forwards this year.Top 30.

Boring13 years of Trash moron
Only those players we currently have under contract. If the Club recruits some new players, one would hope that these would be better than the ones we have. Why are you selecting players who aren't eligible to play.
And Illias lol I'm going to guess you have not watched one Cup game
I mean, we have been trash for a long time.
The power is with the club to do much better.
What's the argument against?
Hayden Buchanan will struggle to play NRL at all with everybody back. One of the things I'm really crossing my fingers for - our NSW Cup Team winning the GF this weekend + also going on to win the State Championship on Grand Final Day. This will do wonders for the confidence of the blokes who will be in our main list for 2026. Given that they will also be expected back on deck for pre-season by mid-November, they will still be peak fitness right up until the last minute of this current season and then ready to rip in after about a six week break.
If there is also one thing I'm taking away from watching the finals games so far - Panthers, Storm, Sharks have been finals mainstays for years now and have players who know how to get the job done at this time of the year (regardless of where in the 8 they finish). Broncos are stacked with rep stars and also know how to get things done at that level. Raiders, Bulldogs will learn and grow with another year under the belt. Roosters will always be there or thereabouts. Wahs are stacked with talent looking at their NSW Cup Team this year...
...which also shows me we are still a long way off where we need to be. Not only getting the roster right, but also the learnings that are required to be successful at the very top level.
As for where our roster is headed for 2026, the general discussion in here seems to be around needing a solid prop and a solution for the wing spots...
Agreed that Hamlin-Uele is a target to go for if he's being shaken out of the Sharks. He's been huge for them off the bench this year, pushes through contact and has an offload.
Provided Ramsey is fit and staying at the club, I actually think he and Gutho in a roving role fullback/wing could work? Gutho is still very much a safe option on the wing in terms of the contest under the high balls and finishing (even if a few paces slower now). But Cody could be a revelation out there.
Suli to the edge (he'll either make it or he won't). I'm giving Hayden Buchanan the #3 jersey and every opportunity to make the spot his own for the next 10 years.
I'm really not sure at this stage who our halves will be? Atkinson will feature somewhere, most likely #6 (provided that is what we bought him for)... but it's game on as to who will get the #7 jumper.
Provided everyone is fit, if there is one thing we will have taken away from 2025 is that we're building a lot of depth in our roster for 2026 (still some work to do to build depth in the backs but very optimistic about where things are going up in the engine room).
Yep, definitely the wrong platform. For this kind of thing you should probably be yelling at cloudsI just want our history restored; that can only happen if the club decides to ditch the Illawarra name, it's the least they can do, to salvage some pride. It's obvious I'm on the wrong platform.
