I’m more confident playing the Ponies than I would have been Panthers but that means little.

Early tip from me in Storm by 6, but no result will surprise me.

Brisbane get Carrigan back and Walsh will have a lot more fun going at Meaney and Howarth on the edges than the Panthers defence.

Hughes is a massive inclusion if he plays like Friday, but he has an actual broken arm.

Brisbane for mine

Should be an exciting game, these two teams match up pretty well. Who is going to want it more? Broncos choking 2 Grand Finals away in last 11 years, Storm last year's losers. Broncos will find much more joy this week up against Storm's outside backs. Storm will threaten them more than the Panthers did with ball in hand. Expecting something like 26 - 20 but I'm not sure who to yet.

Melbourne looked very beatable against Cronulla, they give you 5 tackles in the middle, the odd trick play and if that fails, bomb it to Coates.

Madge won't be giving Hughes the dinner suit treatment, this is the bloke who coached NSW to decapitate Walsh.

I hate both these clubs almost as much as I hate my own. Over the years of hate and seething watching their success, while my club continually fades into obscurity I've learnt that all the hate does is shorten my life. The thought of Munster, Loiero, Asofa Solomona and the unco depth players at the Storm holding the trophy makes me want to projectile vomit until i lose my kidneys.
Now for the Broncos the thought of Mam, Hunt and Walsh lifting the trophy with Barrett in the frame makes me want to put my head into a vice and squeeze the temples until there is no feeling left.

Then I think of the fans.
The ones who ride the emotional rollercoaster week to week, season to season, feeling the highs, lows and appreciating great footy when they see it no matter who is playing. They post in here win lose or draw even with the hatred they see towards the club they love, because they love rugby league.

Whoever wins I'll be happy for you, but also so shitty and jealous of your club's success.
May it give you life.

Well Melbourne never played in Origin b4, so this is their time Queensland vs Melbourne next week which should rate its tits off

It's very difficult to see Brisbane winning TBH.

The circumstances of their 2 wins have been something else. You need to play well for 80 minutes to beat the storm and Brisbane have barely played well for 80 minutes over their 2 finals games.

Back in 2006 I cheered for the Storm and when they lost I felt quite sad at the time as Storm had been minor premiers and because I hate the Donkeys. I didn't know that they were cheating the cap yet obviously.

Now for the first time in 37 years, I won't be watching the GF. Neither club has a single redeeming feature, including the trash cities they represent. I can't believe bloody Brisbane were given the Olympics for 2032 either. It will be far inferior to Sydney 2000, the best games ever.
