The Tigers already have a full squad of 30 for 2026 following the recent additions of Javon Andrews, Ethan Roberts and Mavrik Geyer, with the club also welcoming Jock Madden and Kai Pearce-Paul.

They will likely have a solitary spot opened up if Jayden Sullivan remains with the South Sydney Rabbitohs into 2026 after playing there on loan in 2025.

Stability of players and some good depth, has to be a good thing for the next few years.

That list isnt entirely accurate. Javon Andrews & Ethan Roberts are both Dev contracts for 26 and Top 30 27. Sullivan is by all reports agreed to Souths for the next 2 years. Seems to be noise around the Lauililis and Bird potentiialy leaving.

We seem to have 7 Dev players for 26 which I dont believe is allowed so I wonder if Charlie Murray gets upgraded or Broderlow gets released.

I think Richo means no more big name signings which names sense, our Top 17 is pretty sorted.

Our 3-5 will be mainly squad fillers. Taateo (prop) would definitely be a good one as would Krystian Mapalangi (utility back). Ideally a couple of guys who have played a bit of first grade. Wiremu Greig from Parra would be a decent cheapie, same as someone like Corey Allen.

Again none of these guys are being bought with top 17 in mind, but you need good depth in your 23-30 roster spots.

Madden always seemed solid to me, with the odd flash of “real good” in him.. If he’s better now we prob need him. Solid is needed, esp in the halves. for everyone’s sake

Id like to see Madden at 7 while he recovers and Douehi move to 13.
Douehi did enough late last year to warrant his spot. Lets make it 13.

I've lost track of numbers, but I don't think we need too many more to fill our quota.

Maddens about as good a backup half as youll get. He's also a traditional 7, great kicking game and good runner. Id prefer him to Sullivan as a backup half.
