Yes, hopefully he now understands what's required.Benji lol he was one of the leaders of the oust Madge club because he was too tough and expected players to aim up.

I don’t know if he will. It’s not in his personality.Yes, hopefully he now understands what's required.
Maybe he'll leave it to Luai and a few others then.I don’t know if he will. It’s not in his personality.
We all witnessed two teams play footy tonight and I’d hazard a guess that none of us have seen our Tigers play like that for a very long time
Yeah, there was certainly an excessive amount of cheap shots and the grub out there from both sides. If the Tigers went out and played like Brisbane and Melbourne did last night we would have ended up with 4 players binned and conceded about 15 penalties.
I think you can put any spin on an ex coach to make him look like a victim.. Bottom line after 3 years of descending results from 9th to last with no sign of any change Madge lost support.. and fair enough..That it was the players fault is inaccurate.... If a coach can’t get the players to listen, that’s his fault not the players.I agree that we didn’t have the cattle, but I don’t think the club or the players bought in to Madge’s philosophy, you only had to go back through the media at the time, especially towards the end of his stint to know that the machinations within the club were negative and corrosive, and it wasn’t just any individual responsible, the soul of the club was the same for years it wasn’t just with Madge, at every turn it seemed there was too many excuses and no one prepared to batten down the hatches and do the tough stuff. We just churned through coach after coach as an excuse.
That “mad tyrant” just won a premiership!I think you can put any spin on an ex coach to make him look like a victim.. Madge was unhinged .. He was severely lacking in comms skills empathy patience all the things all the good coaches have ..The tiger town vid illustrated madges lack of judgement for what works and the head space he was in at the time …instead of it showing everyone that he was doing all he could to get success it backfired and let everyone see the mad tyrant he was and gave everyone a reason to laugh even more at the club..
Sorry I’ve just got back from an hour bike ride. I havnt got the energy to fill in the gaps for you right now.. I think it’s all in my previous and yours if I remember rightly…ok 45 minutesThat “mad tyrant” just won a premiership!
Fkn pollution. I won’t do that again.. maybe drive down to a beach and ride there..I was wearing a mask too, and I felt it afterSorry I’ve just got back from an hour bike ride. Yeah, I’ve heard a like theory. Not that I'd question Bellamy's reasoning but I thought it odd during the whole final series Melbourne didn't seem to do any attacking kicks to Coates. He is such a weapon and I can't remember one cross field bomb to him. Seemed to be attacking down Warbricks wing more....history now but you don't change something that works so well for you.
Attitude and fitness go hand in hand. Both are playing good footy after slow starts to their seasons. Papilii in particular looked way off the pace when he joined Penrith. He looked slow and puffed out all too easily but credit to him in that he appears to have done the hard work.
I agree that Stefano has developed another gear that we never saw at the Tigers. It sucks for us but he has clearly made the right call for his career. As for IP, I disagree. He is absolutely fitter than he ever was with us. I think he could go back to his old Parra form with another off-season under his belt.
Yeah that was an odd one.Not that I'd question Bellamy's reasoning but I thought it odd during the whole final series Melbourne didn't seem to do any attacking kicks to Coates. Yeh, it's a bit like, if only we did this and if only we did that, maybe we wouldnt have got a set of wooden spoons.Yeah that was an odd one.
The fallout from the morons in the media over Melbourne's loss is comical though. Get rid of Munster, get rid of Paps, Bellmany has passed his used by date. You'd think they got the spoon. Paps so close at the end to the winning try, the chasing defenders had given up. I wish Tigers had these problems.
What we have, is what we have, but they are mostly all tried and tested within the team, KPP should add to this without too much drama.Yeh, it's a bit like, if only we did this and if only we did that, maybe we wouldnt have got a set of wooden spoons.
The key is holding the team together. What we have, is what we have, but they are mostly all tried and tested within the team, KPP should add to this without too much drama.
We should build well for next year, hopefully enough, but watching some of the finals games, we are still a bit of a way from being competitive, if the team isn't prepared to make the sacrifices that are required.
