Thats fair. Its used by the right as an insult to the left but the right can be just as guilty. My personal fave is the right wing pollies talking up their christian faith and commitment to family values only to be discovered being unfaithful. There's usually a few of those each year.

Yeah. I'd love to see a two state solution but it has failed to materialise to date, just like a one state solution has failed.

Also agree that ethnic cleansing is occurring and I have issues with the fact that the US is enabling and supporting this approach.

The Israel lobby groups are strong and Trump is clearly worried about damaging the US-Israel relationship.

He says he wants to stop a war but the proof is in the pudding.

My personal opinion is this current situation has been brought about by the Abraham Accords. The reasoning being that they sidelined the Palestinians, and normalization of relations between Arab nations and Israel without consideration at all to the Palestinians signaled the US in conjunction with Israel and the Arab nations was walking away from the two state solution pretty much for good.

The PA is now weakened and corrupt, they ( Fatah ) laid down their arms and waited whilst the world watched Israeli settlers shrink what is left of the west bank, there was no real resistance. Hamas was it, and they chose the path of shocking the world with a massive attack.

I don't think they understood how willing the current Israeli Knesset were to break with every norm and just go on a f**king rampage, but in the end politically they've got what they wanted, albeit at an horrendous cost of innocent lives. Palestinian statehood back on the world stage, and the Arab nations walking away from the Abraham Accords.

I know plenty of people who never had any vaccine. When they had covid they had the same recovery time and effects from the illness as anyone else that was vaccined.
It was just a virus that fizzed out and had nothing to do with the vaccine. Look at Sweeden.
