So, not playing a semi because he doesn’t like the number of seats allocated to their supporters?

Is he nuts?

To be fair, he kind of had a point. The game didn't sell out last year or this year.

Kind of silly that Leigh fans miss out, even though there were more than 5k seats empty. Surely they could have given them a few extra bays.

Why are Leigh fans limited to buying tickets allocated to them? Why can’t they buy the 5,000 empty seats that weren’t allocated to them?

So buy tickets and don’t wear your jersey?
They impose a system where if you haven’t bought tickets from the club during the season it won’t let you. This was Derek’s frustration, wigan sold a load of tickets to Leigh fans in the main stand then decided they’d cancel them.

ps the semi at craven park was awesome, the noise was insane. cant wait for old Trafford!

Are you staying for the Ashes?

Lots of Aussies shares John’s view that English league needs saving

It doesn’t. They are perfectly capable of sorting themselves out

Hudds and Salford are the only awful super league clubs left and they could be replaced by stronger clubs like York Bradford and toulose

Perfectly capable?
Lol
Adding 3 teams a giving them months to prepare is the top of the mountain in incompetence, one club just went bankrupt! The broadcast deal is in decline and grants are about to be cut. You have a letter from one club to another threatening to boycott a final, players not being paid...

Perfectly capable?
Bloody hell.

Wakey Leigh and hull kr have made massive gains despite the tv deal getting cut in half

Clubs like Wigan average close to 17k crowds

And yes they are expanding

Faster than we are lol

Good chance they have a second French club before we have a second nz club

And they're all operating at a loss. The clubs ( not the League) are responsible for any gains they have had.
Yes, they certainly are expanding faster than the NRL. So fast that those clubs have absolutely no chance of winning anything and will probably end up bankrupt.
What do you think those expansion clubs look like on the park? These are part time sides mate, they're going to get an absolute hiding.

If course, will only months before the next season.. we don't even know who they are !!!

Technically they're are in contraction.. as the only certainty it the failure of Salford.

But yeah perfectly capable...omg
