You are talking up Chad like he had a great year that year. He was average, he has always been average. He got hooked in finals game that year that is how average he is. There are a lot of standard average 7s who couldve swapped with Chad and the sharks still win that year. Not even sharks fans think he was good that year, talking him up as above average nrl halfback is crazy work.
I’m talking Chad up? Saying he is an above average player is not exactly talking someone up.

You don’t play 250 nrl games and have Jimmy Maloney say that your the smartest player he’s ever played with, if your just an average player.

He wasn’t amazing, he certainly didn’t reach the hype that he had coming into first grade, but I don’t think it’s crazy to say that he was a step up from your average 7.

Nothing crazy about that at all. Alamoti played centre through the 2024 finals. He was our best outside back in this finals series on the wing and last finals series in the centres, if he brings his finals form im taking him over tago every dayt of the week.

What has Tago got over him as a centre? Better defense? Not likely.

He was never elite, He is the epitome average in every way for an NRL halfback except for his games played.

Alamoti over Tago easily - covers more positions (which Ivan likes) and is more effective than Tago

Alamoti was our player of the finals series - and all performances pretty much better than what Tago has performed in 2025.

love Tago but he's on decent coin (like Marto) and we arent getting the results we need

call me crazy but Alamoti and Jenkins cover Tago's spot in the team - and i say that respectfully.

Tago is defensively a much better centre.

PA would need to work if we are going to rely on him as our first choice. I’d pick Milky or Garner ahead of him at the moment.

Who said he was elite? Why do you keep putting words in my mouth?

You can’t say he was the “epitome” and then say “except his games played”…

Let’s just move on, I think he’s better than average, not elite. You don’t. Happy to leave it at that hey.

I didnt say you said it so settle down karen, I just said he never was elite therefore he is something below that, IE just an average NRL halfback.

Of course i can say he was the epitome of average except his games played. Its not hard to understand, let me spell it out since you are struggling with that statement.

His talent was average. His performance's were average. Everything about his career was average except his above average amount of games played.

You just felt the need to point out he was never elite? Even though it’s never been mentioned in conversation earlier… yeah ok 👍 good one champ.

So what you’re saying is, he’s not the epitome of an average player . Gotcha ya. Thanks for the shitty pointless conversation.
