The fact is Simmonson,Pensini and Russel should all be fighting for an NRL spot. All 3 are what id considered average NRL players.
Good enough but if they where flushed out of system wouldnt suprise either.
Reality is with 2 new sides coming these guys are certain to find NRL spots I reckon.
Its going to be a weak comp come 2028 or whenever Kansas city come in comp.

I was hoping we went after Mariner when he was out of favour.
I like this list but ideally we need a meter eater. They arent as easy to find as some people think. We are losing a 200+mtr a game gem. Without a top shelf replacement for Lomax and an adequate replacement for Dylan I am concerned about 2026.
Still have high hopes signings will come though.

Garrick is the closest thing to a direct replacement...I wouldn't be surprised if Ryles hasn't already made enquiries...

The Kansas totos will definitely weaken the comp...

Its going to be a shit time to be rebuilding.

I reckon the clubs like Knights & Dragons are going to really struggle if they have another poor year next year.

I get the sense we may timed it well enough that in 2027 & 2028 when the comp is a bit weaker with more expansion we should have our spine locked in and close to 80-100 games under there belts with Moses.

Ryles is also building a core group of youngsters who want to be there and at the club.

I think our window is 2027-2029 if we land Pezet.

Cost us possibly 2 games i reckon this year when Moses played and we had Russell/Lomax goal kicking miss easy shots.
