Well London were pretty much bust until a few weeks ago so best leave them in championship for a few years to see eh? Toulouse? struggling after 20% funding cut from local council. York? Nah went bust in 2016. you seem to be cherry pickingIt doesn’t suggest anything other than it’s a short-term positive position and they’re moving in the right direction. That alone isn’t enough to suggest they’re on a solid financial footing when their medium and long term financial history (10-15 years) has been horrific.
It’s typical short-termism from rugby league. “You’ve made a profit for two years? Come in lads” and “hey, remember when 20,000 watched Bradford 25 years ago?” is the sort of working mens club thinking that has us where we are.
