No complaints when people’s decisions favour the kiwis

This would be a disaster
If I'm Perth, I'm offering him Dylan Brown money.

RTS is going but that only frees up enough cash to keep their up and coming players.

900k might get it done but that'll mean moving someone on.

Article says he’s been offered 1.1 million and is still going to market

That’s good money given his knee Injuries

There’s decent halves in the market too

Metcalf and Boyd would get things done imo

This is just a strawman, this discussion is not over who they favour in a vacuum, it's about the arbitrary rules of Origin.

Also, I didn't know Whyte was Samoan too, just thought he was Tongan.

Rugby league fans looking for the smallest thing that affects their team is a thing I find funny

I’ve accepted my teams crap and it’s their fault I don’t look for excuses

Esp if nz win this series

Nz is an established test nation

Obviously the nrl is trying to develop Samoa and Tonga to the same level

But they don’t have an nrl team so obviously the situation is different for them v nz

Eden park and Suncorp are looking at 40k crowds

So it’s working

Sorry,, wow 1.1 is definitely fair but I can see why he's waiting until Nov 1 . I wouldn't be surprised if Perth went as high as 1.5.
And I wouldn't be surprised if it was a very long term deal.

The Warriors really need to be producing their own halves. Jett will be starting to look good with a pre season under his belt

Imagine how lit a Jett v Nathan will be 😍

The guy said he was a proud kiwi who was born and raised in NZ and sees NZ as home not sure why it’s seen as a thing that he’s representing NZ?

Funnily enough there’s a thing on the NZ Warriors forum about the Metcalf to Dragons rumour being taken as fact from a hypothetical comment and run with as the truth from a couple of outlets. There’s a few examples of journalists siting forum comments as a ‘source’ so I’m not sure how much credibility can be drawn from it.

Of course the guy is going to attract some interest and he’d be smart to use that to gauge his value. In saying that he seems happy at the Warriors and just got married in NZ with plenty of team mates in attendance and the club have put a lot of time and effort into him -particularly with his multiple rehab stints. You’d be on even Money to think he’d repay some faith shown in him. Sydney media often makes too much out of ‘player is from Sydney he MUST want to play for a Sydney team sometimes.

IS Eden park looking like that figure? I thought it was struggling to sell? I know I’ve had a few 2 for 1 and discount ticket emails last few days

Rumour was Warriors first offer was in the $800k-$900k ball park. He’s great when healthy but has that injury risk stink around him

There was an update in the crowd thread about tickets starting to move with all the cheap seats going and more bays being reclassified as cheap ones

40k is the nzrl hope

Mt smart has had a lot of sales too lately

Samoa and Tonga are countries of like 100k, they're never going to be producing players in mass there, they will be kids coming through Australia or New Zealand and most likely eligible for Origin.
That'll never change.
The only thing that can change is to give that Exact same opportunity to Kiwis and Brits who play Origin,so Origin no longer acts as a deterrent to representing the nation closest to your heart.

Origin doesn't need to lose those that qualify to internationals
And Internationals don't need to lose players who Qualify for Origin

KP can represent Newcastle,QLD and New Zealand.

Newcastle isn't exclusive to New South Welshmen
QLD isn't exclusive to Australians

Outside of a couple of blips NZ hasn’t produced too many decent halves sadly, seems really strange considering the very good playmakers we’ve produced in union.
Might have just been that the top ones have preferred union over league but we have a couple of good prospects coming through the grades, now we have both SJs to work with them hopefully this crop develops better than in the past

It's not a small thing. You have a weird obsession with the PIs teams. All we want is equality for all eligible players. I don't care about any of the current PI players playing for the PI. I'd rather the NZ-Aussies, often Maori players, have the same opportunity as PI-Aussies (or NZ-PI-Aussies).

Also, I think the Kiwis should win, if Hughes was available I'd be supremely confident.

Also, I'm a Warriors fan, accepting my team is crap is as natural as breathing. But again that's not the point.
