I suspect Tracey and Burton to the Bears to free up space. They’ll also be hard pressed to keep Preston as Big Mal is a huge fan.

Jayden Campbell is their main target. I suspect Fuller and Garrick as well. I’d go:

Fullback : Fuller
Wings: Arthurs and Tracey
Centres: Garrick and Burton
Five Eighth: Campbell
Halfback:Sexton

If they miss out on Fuller , I’d go Will Kennedy as fullback. Much prefer Garrick on the wing but there aren’t many centres around. Staggs and Penisini both managed by Moses iirc .

Wingers: Arthurs ; Tracey
Centres: Burton;Garrick
Five eighth: Campbell
Half:Sexton
Lock:Sorensen
2nd rowers: Fermor;Preston
Front Rowers: Tino ; Henry
Bench: ; Hamlin-Uele; Siua Wong;Lahrs;Averillo;


If they miss out on Tino , then get Koloamatangi instead. If they miss out on Sorensen then get Blake Steep instead. If they miss out on Fuller then get Will Kennedy. If they miss out on Wong then get Mariota.

I'd say we would give up Kiks before we gave up Preston. Preston is signed till 2027. While Kiks comes off contract 2026 so is free game from Nov 1. Sort of player that I'd say the Bears want as one of there marquee players, and Kiks is probabbly interested in one last big payday. If we were serious about keeping Kikau I'd say we would have locked him up by now. So I suspect the Bulldogs will see how the market reacts to him, and if we are in the ball park to keep him with a lower amount, as other suitors will for sure come in higher than anythign we offer.

There were zero rumours beforehand. Only way the story came out was Anasta giving reporters the details.

Kudos on Parra & Broncos management keeping it quiet.

And from listening to his podcast, it seems that he'd arranged the 1 year loan to Parra and he was expect to go back to Melbourne, before the Broncos swooped in to change his next destination.
