And Benny Hunt couldn't organise a root i in a brothel. Walsh carried them over the line.If Ben Hunt won a comp at 40 years of age no reason why Moses can’t.

Yep, reserve grader. If he doesn’t want to be a backup, the Super League is the place for him.
Gone for sure. He is too good for reserve grade and there is a lot of demand for halves now.
My rule change campaign has been largely about trying to correct this in an awesome way.As much as Panthers are my 2nd team too you have to be objective and admit on sheer raw halfback talent Moses is streets ahead of Cleary.
Cleary is a generational "systems" player whereas Moses is an all-round deadset 7 with speed, deception and change of pace.
We're watching NRL in an era where systems have eliminated pure raw talent in most positions, it's all about height, speed and endurance with the game narrowed down to left and right side players, everyone in their lane and Cleary is the greatest halfback of this new era.
But on historic rugby league metrics Moses is a generational player. Our hope is that Ryles and co can form the system to allow his elite talent to bring us a premiership in 2026.
Merci beaucoup monsieur les mains!Hands off the books
Systems coaching has its founder in Warren Ryan. Roy Masters, to a certain limited extent was a fore runner but from Ryan onwards we have the Bennett and then Bellamy explosion into the breakdown of the game into controlling and destroying the opposition's the play the ball.My rule change campaign has been largely about trying to correct this in an awesome way.
Nice!Anasta said on his podcast we got him cheaper then his Storm deal which was 500k
I'll put together a paper with my best ideas.A rule change to bring the game back to some parity of athleticism in the service of a system vs raw football talent would be most welcome, T-Boon!
Refused to watch the game but that's certainly what I gleaned from the highlights and stats. And Benny Hunt couldn't organise a root i in a brothel. Walsh carried them over the line.
Agreed pezet has way higher potential than any of our current halves however we wont get to reap the benefits of that potential and currently hes only slightly better if at all better than our current guys. Look i guess if hawkins is gone having some more halves depth isnt the worst thing in the world. Anyways if hes confirmed then no use me bitching about it any longerFrom what I’ve seen of both, Pezet has more upside than Volkman (obviously) and would at the very least be level pegging with him right now.
He provides cover for Moses, especially if Footy Dean is on his way to SL.
I’m not convinced he’s going to be elite. Broncos supporting mates of mine are a mix between excited, to a few of them calling him Brodie Croft Mk II.
People can’t know their goals and they can’t even set their own simple goals because he won’t be here long enough to be judged, so in turn the management can’t be judged on it…. And you wonder why people are questioning it. Really instils the faith that they’ll review the decision making process that led to it.You mean like winning more than this year? It's pretty simplistic. How about just measuring Pezet's output against any alternatives we have in the roster? Again, we won't be able to compare them within the same year, unless they play an equal number of games (in which case the samples would be too small).
I get it though. I work in a bureaucracy too, where we have to pretend everything is measurable. Because science.
I'm failing to see how we lose on this deal. We are a genuine premiership threat next year if we can get some elite forward pack signings and if Pezet sees his future in QLD we're buying time for our juniors to come through after losing Talagi thanks to Brad Arthurs' nepotism. So the spin that we always just wanted him for a year so we didn't block pathways was just BS coverup that we got outplayed by the Broncos. No surprise there.
Anasta said we got him cheap for the calibre we are getting.Need to watch this poddy
Then why are Parra lying about what actually happened? We offered him 3 years straight from Anastas mouth but Brisbane jumped in and beat us out. He wants to play for Brisbane. They get the benefit of us developing him in first grade for a year. Ryles is going to take heat for this. No point trying to cover up. Just own it.I'm failing to see how we lose on this deal. We get the benefit of winning the comp next year with the best NRL spine meanwhile we develop our juniors for a dynasty of premiership glory! Then why are Parra lying about what actually happened? Growing up (when I was a real player) I loved this scenario. I always saw it as "I am ruin her for the next guy". That is the way to look at it.He wants to play for Brisbane. Lol so true!Growing up (when I was a real player) I loved this scenario. I always saw it as "I am ruin her for the next guy". That is the way to look at it.
Exactly. These bitches are getting hysterical. So we offered more coin to both Galvin and Pezet but lost because our sales pitches were inferior?
I’m not buying it.
