Something about that interaction ..prob mistaken.. I’m guessing those 2 are planets apart in life experiences, personal story’s, temperament, how they deal with pressure / pain, how they dish it out, you name it. I’m looking forward to Tallyn ,like Hope being another good story for the club. The anticipation level for me of what he will bring is off the charts. Maybe not the first week? Who knows. He looks like he means business. Those May boys have had it tough. Both still young. Tallyns only 23 still a boy really.

Bula is quick isn't he. I feel he is so close to becoming an elite tier player.
Yes, he doesn't look quick, he seems to glide over the ground, but he left that doggies wing in the dust for his try.
This is only his second full year in F grade, and last years team just wasn't up to it, but I think he will go to another level next year, with most of this years team sticking together.

We can't let him go. We don't have another player like him.
Players like Feledy, for example, come and go, and there are plenty of players out there that we can replace him with, however, Bula has that demeanor about him that is rare.
He and Walsh were two of the best young players to emerge from Keebra Park High Shool since Benji. Everyone knew that these two lads WOULD go on to bigger and better things.
Once he reaches the pinnacle of his playing ability, he will be dynamite. Other clubs know this.
I wonder if it's worth offering him an extension now.
He has Moses in his corner so negotiations could end up like the Galvin mess. Galvin wanted out so Moses went to work applying his scheming detestable trade.
However, Bula is a good kid, and he loves the tigers, so it could be a different scenario.

Historically speaking, we know how this goes. The player manager. The types of news stories... He'll sign with another club Nov 1st and be cut loose as early as possible under a million news stories saying the relationship is untenable for 2026.

What does us getting to the 8 get us as fans, yeah we can say we made the 8 but we all know grand final winners come from the the top four and we are miles off that. I don't see Bula as a player worth 900k but you can't keep building juniors just to f**k them all the time either. Now if we did it to get players of a stack of extra cap space I get it but the club just bends over.

I think while the aim is to always win the comp, we have to get into the top 8 first up and continue to build from there.
I'm all for better players coming, but we do need to build consistency of our game, similar to what the best teams do, where the odd replacement doesn't have a big effect on the team, while Bula may not be the best FB in the game ATM, he's pretty good and a team player, so I don't see him as a weakness or the need to replace him.
The cap grows every year, so an increase today is not such an issue in the next few years.
I do think his manager is playing silly games because they earn nothing, if he takes up his option? I'm not sure where I read it, but it does sound like his manager doesn't want him to sign a long term deal with us, unless it's under there banner, as they make no money otherwise.
Of course the Moses team have no love for this club.
