Australian TV will crack the shits with that schedule. Vegas, HK and Dubai are the only money makers for them.

This story is off-season media fodder …playing 2 games in Vegas will continue … the others mentioned here are a bit of a pipe dream particularly for 2027.

hawaii has a 15k stadium with artificial turf ..they supposedly are starting on a new 20k stadium next year which will be ready for 2029..

who are the countries that have offered money for the games ? How much ?

That's what I'd like to know. I hope Dubai go big for a game..🤑
But it's all been proven now, the Vegas economy got a $70 million dollar boost.. what city in the world doesn't want that?
Valandy's has stumbled upon a major revenue source/ marketing bonanza and audience growth that'll grow the profit of the game, profile of the game and appeal to global audiences and most importantly broadcasters !

Aussies want to go to Vegas though and spend 5-6 days there … there is a lot more to do than just the game ….. Im not so sure the other places have the same attraction…perhaps Hawaii .. but they have other issues like an absence of a proper stadium

London and France will both supply plenty of fans without any Aussies traveling there. Dubai is about cash, not fans. Heaps of expats in Hong Kong an cheap flight. Heaps to do in Florida.
Barcelona has already hosted SL to a massive crowd and will attract fans from England and France and around Europe.
There Aussie expats all over the world too, hundreds of thousands throughout Europe, 160k in the UK alone.

This is more work than just Vegas but on a case by case basis, easier then Vegas.
London - Easy
France - Easy
Dubai - Easy
Hong Kong - Easy
Barcelona - tricky but not as hard as Vegas
Miami - tricky but not as hard as Vegas.

They'll be working on all that already, they've only brought it up because.. all indicators point to viable!

why didn’t those 160k Aussie expats in the UK watch the Kangaroos game ? I wonder if 10k of the 60k crowd were Aussies?

you are way over optimistic on this kinda stuff …at the end of the day it’s all just off season media speculation that they can drag out for a week if they want with a new angle … they are talking this will be happening by 2027 … we’ll have to wait and see

The Kangaroos aren't a draw even in Australia, there's nothing exciting about always having the best team by far for a century.
But yet still 60k in attendance.. why? Because the Britts want to watch the best. WCC always sell out- that's only one NRL club.
I bet you had doubts about Vegas too.

We'll see alright.

60k is a good crowd…. Im not knocking that …. An NRL crowd would struggle to get half that size in London……..

We’ll know in 12 months whether this is this going to happen or not…that’s 8 games in Europe and the US in one weekend .,,,( I assume they will let the Perth Bears play their opener at home …)

I don't think 30k would be a failure .
I'd say Perth will get a home game for sure.
